Basically this happens whenever a sim has died in a lot, i try and add another family into the house but i can't pick the furnished option? Its greyed out.. They have the right amount of money, it happens with every house if someone has died..
Try to select unfurnished and move in. The Furniture should be there anyway. It is as if the game thinks that there are no furniture there if the previous owner died.
- @jpkarlsen hi there, i’m having the problem and tried this but at every house the furniture is actually gone. i get that i could replace them (save lot from other world to library yadayada) but its about ALL the houses so i really don’t have time to replace them all either ☹️
@cutycupcakeje Any house or apartment a sim dies in can't be moved into by another family furnished. The game will always force you to choose unfurnished or bulldozed on these lots. You can go into build mode and replace an item of furniture to allow the family to move in furnished. In houses this will restore the default price of the lot, but in apartments the price will only reflect the single item you replaced. I agree it is a hassle, and it affects any residence a sim dies in.
