Almost every update something breaks that makes me stop playing for months.
I’ve been playing a legacy family tree for -years- with all supersims, no cheats and no mods, ever. I always bought ALL packs and kits. Last big error with for rent almost broke every save file i had while trying to fix my lot that i’d changed to rental to finish that ambition.
This summer that milestone thing came along and for my next generation of children i wanted all milestones possible completed. After reading here and on reddit i kinda came to terms with ’ok i have to cheat to get the milestones, i’ll bring back down their skills to level 4 once and manually work back to 5’. It made me so sad about cheating so i stopped playing in august.
N now the reaper challenge came and got me fired up, i was prepared to use the cheat to finally get to play and enjoy it again. And after trying to get the cheats to work for idk 3 hours today i found this thread. Just my luck with it having worked until sept 18th lol.
I did some extra trouble shooting just to be sure too. Repaired game, started new saves. Equipping skills with
stats.set_skill_level Skill_Toddler_Movement 5
works just fine, but lowering it back down with say
stats.set_skill_level Skill_Toddler_Movement 3
does nothing. And it’s the same with the adult code, equipping works. Lowering doesn’t.
I am not about to download any mods. And there seems to be no way of getting all the toddler milestones when you have already gotten the Top Notch infant trait without mods.
EA please fix this 😭 i spent fortunes on this game and i want to continue to do so, I usually find work-arounds but there seems to be none for this.
I repaired the app and the game again and the skill cheat seems to be working except for lowering the skill. I tried lowering my sims mischief skill because I don't like my sims to be mischievous, but it didn't work. Haven't tried it on another skill yet.
