[OPEN] [HR] Can't Clean Horse Bed / Empty Horse Bed 'In Use'

Same problem. If I turn on cheats, I can set it to clean. They used to be fine, but then broke.

What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to clean horse bed, says horse bed is in use (refer to image)
What do you expect to see? The option shouldn't be greyed out - should be able to clean when the horse bed is empty.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

What happens when the bug occurs? It says the bed is in use when the horse is not using it.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to clean the bed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console never used.

It started in Copperdale. I've started a new household in Sulani today to see if it happens again. In the Copperdale home it happened very regularly and I was having to replace the horse bed in build mode as it couldn't be cleaned. The lot is in the gallery called Copperdale Hillside since I can't share saves on console.

I just started having this issue as well.

@abs_clown_shoes Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

I guess I should have clarified. I am playing on PS5.

No mods. I'm on PS5.

I have had this happen with and without mods. I suspect that what is happening is, that if the focus Sim leaves the lot while the bed is in use, the In Use flag isn't cleared when the focus Sim returns. Instead, it isn't cleared until the assigned horse uses it again and wakes up while the focus Sim is on the lot. I have not, however, tested this, but it seems like a reasonable edge case that could cause it.

@richvh This seems to be correct! Both my horse beds couldn't be cleaned. One horse slept on it, i woke him up, he left and then i could clean that bed, yet not the other one. Thanks to this comment i figured i should try and it worked thank you!
