Possible solution: I managed to normalize the appearance of the store owner and the barista. As the poetry event starts on Monday at 3pm, I decided with my sim to show up on that day so that the correct event could begin. So, when Monday arrived at 3pm, the event that was stuck in poetry recitation changed to the fashion show, with customers returning normally, the owner of the thrift store and the barista appearing. I hope this helps anyone who has an event stuck during the week. I believe we just have to wait for another scheduled event to start and it will return to normal.

    @JMoon_gamer Interesting, I'll check it out when I go back in the game. I need to look up the schedule for when each event happens but honestly, EA needs to fix this since it should be automatic when events happen like the Bar nights and Karaoke bar where all I have to do is show up to the place...

    Platform:Steam-PC
    Which language are you playing the game in? English
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, cats and dog, city living, cottage living, growing together, discover university, Highschool years, parenthood
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to the thriftea and theres no boba vendor at the counter
    What happens when the bug occurs? Nobody sells boba/drinks
    What do you expect to see? I expected to see the vendor and they would sell boba tea
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    I just got the highschool year expansion pack just now and when i went to try the thriftea shop the vendor wasnt there but when i went at the fair or where the rides at theres was a vendor at the boba stand but not in the thriftea?i did try to remove my ccs and mods and try a new save and still nothing the vendor wont show up And what are the “events” at the thriftea cuz i heard there are some and what day and time do they start

    @itsjilliann The whole lot is just broken to be honest. There are three events that are suppose to take place at the lot:
    Sunday: Poetry Reading
    Monday and Friday: Fashion Show
    Wednesday: Comedy Night
    These events are suppose to start at 3pm but it's broken since if you show up at any time, you'll be stuck with an event but the shop owner and the Boba Counter worker won't be there though, there is a chance the event will appear properly if you show up on a designated day at the time it is suppose to start but it is a coinflip.
    I'm really disappointed since I wanted to put this lot in San Myshuno's Fashion District to replace Honey Pop( I repurposed Torenti Towers to a Karaoke Bar/ Nightclub) since it would fit perfectly but the lot's broken and now San Myshuno and other worlds with festivals/ events are busted...

    Wait really? The other festivals are broken as well? I haven’t been going at san myshuno to attend the festivals but i really hope there’s a way to fix this or they should fix this “bug” cuz its really annoying and frustrating😭😭

    I'm having the same issue and I feel like it may be related to the events being bugged in discover university too. I get notifications for all of them at the same time (up until the 200 notification limit.)
