I'm having this problem, too, since the pre-L&D EP patch (I don't have the L&D EP). In my 8-year-old but very vanilla legacy save, in one neighborhood in Willow Creek, I have 20+ townie bikes stuck at spawn points and along sidewalks/paths, plus stacked collectibles, and simultaneous leaf piles and snow angels all stuck in this neighborhood in the spring/summer seasons. None of these can be interacted with or even incendiaried by my spellcaster sim. I do have a 6-unit apartment in that neighborhood, but it's never had any problems otherwise.

This bug also appears when I load older saves from before the 10/22 patch.

I would very much like this fixed in a way that doesn't permanently ruin my legacy save I've worked so hard on for so many years.

I've managed to clear my complete legacy save (almost 10 years old) with Sims 4 Studio. All this garbage seems to be tansferred to the lot inventory of rental and/or apartment lots. It's hidden and you can only see and delete it by clearing the Zone Object Data  via Sims 4 Studio.

Ultimately, this solution helps cleaning existing mess, but it won't stop new mess from generating until EA solves this issue 🥲

But that's something good to keep in mind the fix is not retroactive to items that were stuck before the fix if it ever comes (that would be a shame) so that's good to keep somewhere, thanks for sharing 🤗

This is happening to me in san myshuno as well but was able to clear it using what you did here. Please EA fix this terrible issue

Is it possible to get the pictures in english? or another one that has done similar to you? I can't really proceed because I can't understand German. ☹️

Anyway i can't clean San Myshuno by this method - still i have cups everywhere

I recently discovered that I also have this error. My family unit lives in the fashion district penthouse, and I saw that it had a cupcake blocked in the air which I can't remove even with mods.

I made a backup copy of my game after reading several comments on this topic for fear that the error would also happen in other areas of the other worlds.

I hope EA addresses this problem because it is quite worrying and so is the corruption of several batches.

Can you please elaborate a little bit of provide a tutorial source or sth? I have sims 4 Studio but I can barely use it properly. :/

It's not an easy workaround and it takes some time. After you clean the save game you should not play with any dorm, apartment in San Myshuno/Evergreen Harbor/etc. and residential rental because then again items which can't be deleted will duplicate over and over.

For myself I refuse to play this game in this state. There are also other bugs but this one is not acceptable in my opinion.

Not even play, but visit rents lot also.
I visit family living in rent lot and doubled objects placed by tools
