@talk_simlish_2me I gave more detailed response previously in the thread but here's the gist:

Two methods:
One, pull your save folder to your desktop. Run Game. Close game. Try your saves one by one in the new save folder until you find one that works. Play from there.
Two. In game, travel to a base game lot like a gym. Use Save As to create a new save. Let game run briefly. Click save and see if it works.

Something in the last update, thanks lovestruck, has led to an old error of save files being corrupted. Your best chance is to NEVER EVER save in the problem worlds of high school, university, lovestruck. Always save in a base game area.

Furthermore, create a series of save as files. try1, try2, try3, etc. When you have save games that work, delete the old corrupt ones.

Always keep in mind that save as will usually work. If not, go to the worldview screen and save from there. Some people have reported that has worked.
