[ROM] Spellcaster has multiple Glimmerstones

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? Most recent (1.92.145.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Werewolves, Journey to Batuu and Moschino Stuff. Also don’t have any kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure if this affects anyone else!
What happens when the bug occurs? My Spellcaster Sim somehow has four Glimmerstones in her inventory. Her husband has two.
What do you expect to see? Each Spellcaster owning one Glimmerstone each.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

As described above… my Spellcaster Sim, Caroline, somehow has four Glimmerstones in her inventory and her husband Peter has two. The family recently moved apartments (they live in San Myshuno). I forget when exactly this occurred, but previously I had noticed that Caroline had three and Peter had one (which is the norm). They have four children, all of whom have their Glimmerstones (they’re currently toddlers).

    @Lucy_Henley What kind of mods are you using ? Just cc or also mods/script mods ?

    Removing the mods won't remove the glimmerstone you have but you could try removing all mods/cc, then move again and see if you get more.

    Yes I have both CC and mods. It’s not a game-breaking bug and I’m not too bothered by it. I’ll try what you suggested though.

    I’m not sure if moving is the issue. Prior to the move she had three Glimmerstones, and she hadn’t moved house previously. I don’t remember how or when the extra stones appeared in her inventory, although it is interesting that her husband now has two stones…

    @Lucy_Henley There is a known issue for non-spellcasters to suddenly have them.

    Did you use a cauldron to cook a meal ?

    They’re both Spellcasters, I created them as such in CAS, so that isn’t the issue here. I haven’t used the cauldron to cook a meal, no.

    Yeah, I understand. It doesn't seem to be affecting my game in any way so I'm not too bothered. I was mainly wondering if it had happened to anyone else.

    Caroline now has a fifth Glimmerstone... which I just discovered is her toddler son's. All her other kids (two at the child stage and one at the toddler stage) have theirs. So now Caroline has her own, three random ones and her son's. Maybe she just likes collecting them IDK 😃

    @Lucy_Henley Did you put your mods back or is still on vanilla game ?

    Do you have any clue what triggered it ?
