Did you place a plant or painting or anything next to it and then use the "shift " move to make it larger? I noticed a while ago in a house I built that the shower was missing from the bathroom and in the hall, on the other side of the wall that the shower was placed on, I had set a plant and then doubled it's size. When I saved and then reloaded the game it caused the shower to disappear! I tested this on several different objects with several different objects and it happened each time. Here's the thing though- it seems that if you use the "shift " move to enlarge an item next to another item while BB.MOVEOBJECTS ON is active then the glitch does not take place. Helpful information if that's what happened- not so much if it was something else- lol.
