Accommodation game pack. B&B/Hotels
The other day, I was thinking, wouldn't it be awesome if your sim could rent out a room in their home, as B&B accommodation? Or put a cottage in the bottom of your garden for the purpose.
And the more I thought about it, the more ideas I had.
What if you wanted to expand your B&B?
What if your sims bought a fancy mansion, for the purpose of turning it into a hotel?
With 2 or less rooms for rent, it's a B&B.
With 3-5 rooms, it's a private hotel.
With 6+ its a hotel.
Add a new door locking options, to designate areas, such as 'lock hotel guests out', to keep them from playing with your kids toys, using your computer, and breaking your toilet. But still allowing friends that you 'invite in' come to visit.
An object (a gift basket, or a welcome card with foil wrapped sweets) that you place to designate your accommodation rooms. Without the object, the rooms are not rentable, with it, they are.

Hire staff, to help you keep up with your guests demands.
Add a buffet table to your dining room (comes in several size options), to serve breakfast to multiple guests at once.
Have a linen cupboard, for all those extra sheets and towels you now need to keep laundered.
Hire a porter to lug your guests suitcases to their rooms... What have they got in this thing? Bricks?
Put a hotel or B&B on each and every map in your sims world!
One sim can own multiple hotels.
Have a guestbook for your guests to sign when they arrive.
By using the same system, whether it be for a b&b in a private home, or for a commercial lot, away from home, it makes it less complicated. It's a simple enough concept that it should be possible as a game pack, without needing to be an entire expansion.
