Bloodlines - A Wyvernus-Draconis Legacy
So, I guess I'll introduce myself. My Name is Flint Wyvernus. Supposed heir to the Wyvernus-Draconis Estate. Whatever that means. Until recently, I thought I had no family. Boy was I wrong. Well, Mostly.

It started on a rainy night. Don't all great stories start this way? Mine did at least. I was told I was to meet with someone in Brindleton Bay regarding my inheritance. The address given was a private piece of land on the cliffs overlooking the Ocean. Even in the dark rainy weather I could just make out the light house. The property itself was rather gloomy. I'd been told there was some kind of accident long ago and that the house and burned down. Now all that remained were ruins of what looked like a rather large mansion. Oh, and some kind of Family Mausoleum.
I was met by the caretaker. I woman who claimed to have known my parents. She didn't give me much detail about the matter, but told me that this plot of land was left to me. Apparently, I was only to come into my inheritance when I came of age. This being my 18th birthday, I was to take possession of the land immediately. I tried my best to pry for information regarding why my parents, Who must have been very wealthy, had left me to grow up in an orphanage. She didn't really answer my questions.

"Listen, Flint. Your parents must of had extremely good reasons. In fact, I know they did."
I sighed heavily, "You know and yet you can't tell me?"
"I'm sorry Flint."
"Were you sworn to secrecy? Or something?" I asked Jokingly. "I mean, what? Were my parents come kind of government agents?"
She shrugged awkwardly, "I... Well Flint... I honestly cannot tell you."

I took a moment to properly look around, hoping that maybe there was some clue as to what had happened.

There didn't appear to be much left standing. Whatever had happened, had happened a really long time ago.

As I walked to the back of the Property, I noted that the only thing that was standing, was the Mausoleum. It was even in good shape. The caretaker lady must have been doing a good job of keeping up the place.

I tried to open the doors, but for some reason the doors were sealed shut. It was odd to say the least as I didn't see a lock anywhere. I hadn't been give a key either. As far as I could tell, this door was impossible to open. Still... it peeked my interest.

I quickly unpacked a few things and set up a small camp for the night. I'd traveled a long way from home and didn't have money for a hotel. I was used to roughing it. At least I could try to sleep on the matter and figure out what I wanted to do in the morning.

Though it was still cloudy, I manged to wake up early enough to see the sunrise and cooked a hot meal while I waited. The more I thought about. The more I realized this would be a great opportunity. I mean, the land was mine. I could do some renovations, build a home, maybe bulldoze that creepy stone building. This could work.
"That's it!" I told myself. "I have to stay. This is the perfect opportunity to start out on my own."
Thus begins..... The Wyvernus Legacy.
