Board Games and other group social activities.

One thing I feel TS4 lacks is things for large or small groups of people to do when they get together. Not all my sims want to go out dancing every night. And I don't always want to stay home and watch a movie, or have a group of 4 play video games. Also, cards should be able to be played by more than two people. I think a board game concept would be a neat addition to the game. Not entirely sure how they'd create something like that, but something you could spread out on a table and possibly keep in your inventory. What other things would you like to see for groups of sims to do when they get together?
  • @Dannydanbo I would love a Sims Twister game. I can just see my clumsy sims now...this idea brings me much joy.

    THIS!

I just purchased “Get Together” this weekend because I thought that it would all TONS of new gameplay to my game regarding group activities but there isn’t really anything exciting to do.

I think board games would be great! You could place them on the floor or on a table where a group of up to four sims can play at a time.

Also, we need another game console because I’m not buying “City Living” just for that. #sorrynotsorry

I can’t think of anymore group interactive activities at the moment.

I don't blame you, but I do enjoy City Living. It's not for everyone though. San Myshuno is the town where I have the most played families.

I just don’t want the game because I don’t want the rats and roaches lmao :s

    They freak me out :D

I think coffee tables should be usable as game tables. And games should be items that can be stored in your sims inventory.

$2 for a pack of cards, a budget game option.
$10 for a portable chess set.
$50 for simopoly (monopoly) or scribble (pictionary), or the core rule book for the pen and paper game 'There's a dragon in the dungeon!'

    Love these ideas!

I tend to give my sims all the fun activities for them to do, the chess table, game table, foosball, video game system, etc. The only one the tend to use without me telling them is the gaming system.

I don't know what it is about electronic systems, but sim are innately drawn to them. It's irksome when you have someone visiting and all they wanna do is play games on your computer.

I put my computer in a room and lock the door for everyone but family to keep visitors out,

I generally do the same thing, unless the floorplan doesn't allow for a room to be closed off.

Yes you should be able to play cards in a group. that's just lazy of them.

Sims can play cards in a group of 4. ;) Although they only play for like 2 seconds, because they have to pee or eat or do other sim things. :D
