Can use ideas for my haunted prison project.
My plan is to stick eight Sims in the lowest basement level of a haunted house, unable to move to a higher floor until they meet the requirements.
Each new floor comes with more comforts and options for them, once they reach the ground floor they'd be able to go into a fenced garden for example, the front door will be on the first floor.
Whoever makes it out first will be the main owner of the house and they get to decide what to do with the place and the remaining occupants.
So there's three things I try to figure out before starting:
-How few facilities will the lowest floor have?
-What will the requirements be to advance a level higher?
-Who will be put in here?
To answer the last question, I already decided one of each supernatural type will be included, though their personality is still up for discussion.
What I currently have made in CAS, which is not final yet is:
-A cool vampire woman. Kind of has an underworld vibe going on, still considering traits.
-A green alien guy. He's a genius, vegetarian and paranoid. I figure his biology could not allow him to eat meat.
-A mage, likely a guy. No idea for traits or style yet, I want to try something interesting.
-A mean werewolf woman. I try to make her as vicious as the game allows. She'll be mean, evil and hot headed.
-A mermaid. Likes the ocean, outdoors and all that. Typical pretty mermaid lady.
The supernaturals are put there more for WHAT they are, not their personality or WHO they are. The remaining three regular sims will be thrown in this project for sort of SAW like reasons. Currently I am considering these three to be:
-a slacker guy. He's a lazy gluttonous slob. Someone who no one might miss.
-A clown woman. She's childish, clumsy and a goofbal. Plenty of people hate clowns.
-A greedy business man. Someone no one might miss. Ambitious, materialistic and maybe hates children? Not sure yet on the third one.
But better suggestions are welcome if you have any.
For the second question, I am considering some degree of skills, maybe them all having to extensively do the thing they'd hate the most as a personal challenge to overcome and maybe something else unique to each level they have to master.
For the first one, a mini fridge is probably the bare minimum. I guess they will have a sink so the mermaid can get some water at least, but probably no beds or privacy. Just one room where they are all stuck in.
Maybe with some objects related to specific skills so they can meet any possible skill requirement.
Second level would still be pretty spartan but probably would have the basic things, of the worst quality and some more skill objects.
Would be a few rooms including one communal bedroom and one small bathroom with a toilet and shower all have to share.
Might be some basic entertainment too, it would all still be pretty much a prison.
And past that it would keep getting nicer. I'd use money cheats to build the whole thing, probably won't decorate the higher floors until someone actually makes it there though.
