Backstory: As the great granddaughter of Vlad, Emery has had a rough life. She was constantly picked on and called names because of her family. She turned inside herself and focused on school instead. That just made things worse. Having the highest grades in school caused the other kids to label her as a nerd or a geek. It was their own fault she turned out smarter than they were. They pushed her to it.
