Following The Fords - Legacy Story

Zach starts off the morning making breakfast for Mila, who is still feeling a little under the weather

And they sit down to eat

After breakfast Mila feels a little better, and gets dressed ready to go and meet Summer and Liberty for coffee

They meet at a coffee place in the city

And sit down to catch up. Summer starts off with some exciting news: she’s moved in with her boyfriend, Rafael! She can’t wait for the girls to meet him, and shows lots of pictures!

Then Mila tells them about the honeymoon – all the amazing things they did and saw. And how kind Zach was looking after her when she felt unwell

Liberty suggests that perhaps there was another reason for Mila feeling under the weather… Mila thinks this over and realises that Liberty might be right

Mila says goodbye to the girls and heads home

Where she tells Zach about what Liberty said

And decides to take a pregnancy test to find out for sure…

It’s negative… But it gets the couple thinking – are they ready to expand their family?

They decide they are! Zach and Mila officially decide to start trying for a baby!

Um, not right now guys! We have work to do!

That’s better. With a big decision made, the couple have to keep working hard: babies cost money, after all! Mila logs into her emails and sees a job opportunity to write and edit a history textbook: it pays good money, and she accepts the gig.

While Mila gets started on the assignment, Zach gets a phone call from his boss: there’s a job opening for a head caterer, and he wants to put Zach forward for the role.

He accepts gratefully and heads out for an interview

And he got the job! Zach is now the head caterer at his company! Yay Zach!
Back at home he decided to get started practicing some gourmet dishes, as these will be a big part of his new job role

Meanwhile, Mila reads over some extra material for her assignment. She gathers some information on writing style and purpose, which will help as she starts editing her content tomorrow.

The couple sit down to eat, and Zach suggests they start looking at new houses soon as they plan to expand their family, and looks at the finances – they currently have around $23000 (including the house) and would need at least $30000 for a good sized family home. Good to know!

All this talk about expanding the family gets the couple excited for the future, and Zach suggests they get started with trying…
