!
I don't think restaurants work for bowling alleys. You can use a lounge, a nightclub, or a bar. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I think that's way better than a bowling alley venue. If there were a specific venue type just for bowling, every bowling lot would have the exact same visitor autonomy and they would all function the same way. But with three options, you can have three completely different types of bowling venues in your game, and they all give completely different experiences from each other when you visit them. I actually thought this to be one of their more clever ideas. I wish they had applied it to more themes.
But in real life we have things like that. There's a bowling alley downtown (Philly) with like 3 stories. A restaurant downstairs. Something I don't remember in the middle. And up top is this bowling alley, with an awesome bar and kitchen. And they gave pool and other games. You know? I get having a bar and just throwing in arcade games. Or a dance floor for salsa nights. And that wouldn't need multifunctioning buildings.
But the option should be there. Especially for simmers who like to play the game like it's a story.
I'm not a let's player. Eventually, I'd love to be. But that doesn't mean I don't play my game like I'm telling a story, every time. I'm a write, it's literally my default.
And I want the option of having someone opening a tienda in my neighborhood, and having their slacker son live in the apartment upstairs.
Sims 3 had issues. Sure you could make your own island on the map.But then you could only run certain packs at oncce. I could NEVER get my store purchases to show up. (Actually it'd be really cool if there was a converter for Sims 3 store purchases to be used in Sims 4.But I digress.) And running it on a gaming PC didn't help. I'd need like 100TB instead of 2, and a desktop to fix all that games issues. But you were free to try. You know?
I have a friend who refuses to play 4. 3 works on her pc, and she'd rather deal with 2-3 expansions at a time, and multiple saves, etc. Than deal with the constrictive nature of 4.
If 3 worked for me, maybe I'd be the same. Or at least split my time between them more.
I'm just asking for options here. It's not like I'm gonna stop giving you guys (EA/Sims) money. I own all of Sims 2, 4, Medieval, every Sims 3 expansion except for Into The Future (bc I'm not a fan of time travel), 3 Sims City games, Sims mobile, Sims Freeplay, hundreds of dollars worth of Sims 3 Store merch, My Sims. Like come on! Just give me multipurpose buildings.
Please.
(And an awesome Sims 4 Supernatural Expansion Pack.)
