Some ideas for different traits.
Happy trait - Laugh at almost everything. Dances and plays a lot. Learns quickly.
Mischievous trait - Throws food, splashes parents in the bath, annoys other toddlers, draws on walls, more likely to ignore parents when being taught new things, splashes in the toilet, kicks over potty.
Introvert trait - Cries when meeting new Sims. Doesn't like the company of other toddlers.
Angry trait - Cries a lot more often, throws food and toys and fights with other toddlers.
You could really have a field day with traits and emotions when it comes to them.
Yes to this! I really want toddlers to have different personalities, just like in real life. It would be great to see the contrast between an energetic/outgoing toddler from a calmer/shy one. My niece was the typical "little monster" kind of toddler, running around, touching everything, yelling, etc. so when she was next to a more quieter toddler, the difference was abysmal, it was actually funny.
I hate to compare it, but I think toddlers could be like Pets in previous games. Have different traits that can affect their behavior and be scolded/praised when doing certain things, influencing other traits and behaviors.
