Maxis Fav using someone else's content?

Once upon a time back in the old forums and the old gallery, there were Maxis Fav guidelines. One of them stated that Maxis would only curate items by original creators. If, as sometimes happens, a mistake was made and a reupload was fav'd, there was a form community members could use to report. Maxis then looked into it and removed the reuploaded item from the curated list. I saw another reupload receive the honor of a fav recently. I found the old curation guide here at that time and filled out the form that was linked → https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfNynDDTvdwC7utHNQlPE9Cz_KeJI-mzOqCLu3coX4RE2SkkQ/viewform I'm not sure if this even works anymore because the reupload I reported remained on the curated section in the gallery. I personally know, respect and love Yagatha for her uniquely interesting Sims creativity as well as how kind & supportive she is in our community. I also would appreciate it if this was looked into as soon as possible.

Please sims team, we have to do better. This is devestating. Also given that Yagatha is an established sims creator. So loved for her beautiful creations and support for others in the creative process. She deserved that Maxis Favourite for her cumulative work too. But that creation had SO MUCH character. She is the creator. If this was my sims, I would be so sad. I cannot even think what this must feel like to Yagatha. Please go read the comments on that creation. Nothing but outrage that we all know the gallery well enough to have spotted Yagatha's creation and to realise it was a copy instantly. Please appoint someone to curate the Maxis faves that would also have spotted it. Why on earth would we favourite someone / recognize someone whose name is 675cx!23alsdlaskjd and leave someone like Yagatha behind! This is embarrassing.

Yagatha- You're welcome and thank you for sharing your sadness in the most respectful ways in the Sims Community these past 24 hours. 💜 I hope from this latest debacle something will be done about the state of our Maxis Fav process and honestly the gallery as a whole.

LilRedRidingSim- You've been a talented creator who has encouraged creativity and fun in our gallery for a longer time than I. I'm happy to see you speaking your feelings of support here with us today, thank you! I love your idea about appointing someone visible to take a leadership role on the Maxis Curated process. I'd personally love to take on that community role as I've said numerous times in the past. I'm sure you would too! 😉💜

I've always been passionate about the Maxis Fav process. Lately, my passion has turned into frustration and concern. Our creative community that cares about the gallery part of this game deserves an update. 

This is really not okay! If people can just use other people's creations, add some sims (or build items when it's a lot) re-upload it and get a max favourite, the whole max favourite thing becomes meaningless. Yagatha always creates lovely Sims, so she deserves the Max favourite, not this other person. 

No it is not okay to fave someone who just re-uploaded somebody else's work and punish the original creator in the process. Pray tell in which world this is considered acceptable? Please address this asap.

Please fix this by giving the Maxis Fav to Yagatha's original sims and by being more careful in the future when reviewing who to give it to in the first place. 

This mistake needs to be rectified immediately. Yagatha is a wonderful, kind and talented creator who deserves credit and recognition for her creation. Please also check future uploads to make sure they are original creations before curating them.

Thank you for highlighting this! So much change happened to the gallery last year and there's been no word or update since. We love the gallery and all the Simmer creativity there so much, so please look into this Sims Gurus
