Minimalistic/Futuristic Living SP with bots (picture-heavy)
I'd like to share my idea of an ultra-modern, minimalistic themed SP. It features sleek, elegant furniture that would only be found in the most expensive skyscrapers and millionaire apartments, but now we can enjoy this lifestyle through our sims :)
Not to be confused with Into The Future! No time traveling machines- these stuff already exist now, so there's no need to do all that.
Simbots could be added as a special life state to the pack, and programmed to be a friend for social interaction, or a servant to do whatever you want it to. Hey, butlers were added to Vintage Glamour, so.
Before I begin: most of my pics are black and white, but that's because it's a very modern colour scheme and the best modern pics were in these colours. Of course, however, there will be many colour swatches in addition to these colours, like red, (many shades of) blue, purple, green, orange, cream etc.
Kitchen pics

Natural stone is very elegant and makes any room look modern and expensive. Smooth natural stone wall texture and counters would be awesome. (As well as decorative stone mortar and pestle for flair).

I love the floor here, as well as the cabinets with a space in the middle for appliances like microwaves and ovens. Some more decorative fruit bowls would be great too, especially modern glass bowls with minimal colour or fruit differentiation for that minimalist effect. (Like the glass with only green apples.)
Living room pics

This is a super-futuristic example of a living room. All furniture are sleek and geometrically interesting. Think Hunger Games furniture.

It would also be great to have a new modern glass fireplace or two - free-standing or to be placed on a wall and display on both sides.
Bathroom pics

This isn't a super-modern bathroom, but you get the idea - sleek, clean-cut and stylish. Semi-reflective tiles and plumbing with long, elegant pipe things ( ) I unfortunately don't have a pic of glass sinks and tubs because Photobucket won't accept all my uploads, but clear glass looks seriously cool and would be a wonderful addition to the pack.

Another beautiful modern bathroom. Lots of stone, silver and big mirrors. Mirrored furniture is also really cool and gives off the impression of more space. Cabinets and island cabinets that don't touch the floor and must be placed on a wall, would also be a great addition to the pack.
Bedroom pics

We already have things quite similar to this, but extra bedroom stuff are always welcome and the pack has to cover the entire home or there will be rooms in the super modern abode that look like they're from the year 2000 and that will totally kill the vibe. So, just add a bedroom set with cool fancy geometry that looks like it costs more than a small house and it's all good  Mirrors and steel work very well to make things look modern.
Decor and walls

Futuristic interiors usually have slabs of stone on the walls, so we’ll need a few. It would also be great if we could have a stainless steel wall texture. It is probably a lot to ask for concerning reflections, but having it for the exterior of buildings would be AMAZING. Btw, this picture is from the film The Host, which can serve as some inspiration, regarding architecture and interiors

Decor objects will mostly be weird geometrical things made from metal, stone or polished plastic, neat plants inside vases and pots of all shapes, textures and sizes. It is important to have a wide variety of textures and sizes, because the stuff have to look interesting. Also, it is preferable if most of the plants, pots and vases are small to medium so it can fit onto tables, cabinets etc. Bigger statues and plants should also be added, but we have enough over-sized items and they are rarely used because there isn't really enough space for them, so keep it reasonable.
Some new modern stuff for fountains would also be great, especially a waterfall object that can be placed on a wall and makes water flow down the walls! It would also be amazing if we can actually make fountains indoors. I don't know if it's a bug, but my game never allows me to make a fountain on a platform and I hate it. Super-modern homes often have fountains inside, so it would be well-advised to address this.
Oh, and paintings should be mostly Abstract art, to tie in with the modern theme. Abstract art with a nature theme, is my personal favourite.

I'm going to post hairstyles, because the models in the pictures of the hairstyles are basically wearing what I'd like to see. Maybe add a sprinkling of toned-down Hunger Games clothes to the mix for the simmers wishing for that type of story. My only clothing request is, you guessed it, a metallic bikini

What do you guys think? Post your suggestions and images in the comments
PS: also check out my Futuristic city world idea here , which goes perfectly with this SP.
