Wow, excellent entries everyone!
I am new to 'this side' of the forums, when I do have time to post these days it's on the Sims 3 side. I found out about this challenge from the Sims Addicts Anonymous FB group. I haven't put pen to paper in a Sim story (or any story) in awhile due to RL stuff, but I do have some older blogs. I have to say, it is a terrific idea. Not only do we unite the writers but we also get to discover new and emerging voices!
I wanted to participate last month, but the month flew so quickly that I didn't get the opportunity. I actually drafted this entry on April 30th and published it on my blog on May 1. It took one burst of inspiration, one I haven't really had in quite awhile.
Some background: My sim, Savannah, has been one of the main sims in my game. She was born in my game to another one of my sims, Nathan, who was the son of Jamie Jolina (yes that one) from Sims 3. Savannah has lived a very fascinating life. Born to privilege, she sought a life of adventure. She traveled the world, became a ghost hunter, wrote extensively about her experiences, and finally, began teaching at Sims University. Somehow she 'found' time to marry and have 5 children (and adopt two more). This entry focuses on her feelings immediately after the birth of her first child.
