The whole deal with Bastian at the crib is exactly why I always build a small nursery room.
I stick the babies in there, and lock the door for everyone except my matriarch and maybe the teens.
No kids or toddlers allowed! If you can't actually take care of them, then get lost!
I have come dangerously close to losing too many babies because siblings wouldn't get out of the way!
