Need better inventory control

I sometimes think it would be great to create categories in the inventory so you can sort things. So you can create potions, bugs, plants etc categories.

What about splitting stacks of items? I want to sell only half of my Dragonfruits, for example, but I can't. I can either sell the whole stack or sell them one by one. The same goes for transfering items to the refrigerator, for example, or to simply get rid of the lower quality produce so they don't contaminate the high quality produce when choosing them for fertilizing. Being able to split stacks (at least in half!) is a really important Quality Of Life feature that is missing from the game and results in a lot of frustration and time wasted by having to individually move items, one by one (just to emphasize), to achieve the desired results...Also, it seems like something pretty simple to add to the game, and should already have been in the game, in my opinion. I've seen a lot of forum threads about this topic, most of them starting from 2015, but the issue hasn't been adressed apparently.

Totally agree. Right now it's a mess.

I agree especially when your collecting crystals and metals and have to keep them in there until you have completed the collection.
