Unlike Sims 3, there is no need for a styling station.
Hair stylist- they work in a hair salon. Costumers can either book appointments or just drop in. More hairstyles should be introduced in the game. The hairstylists will gain hair styling skill, so that that means they have to practice on a head mannequin with a wig, practice hair styling on their friends'/family's hair and gain experience doing other sims' hair at work. And yes, they could give other sims bad hairstyles. The hair they the stylists do can be rated: awful, OK, just fine to perfection. hair wash and hair drying included, that means sims's hair can be wet and can appear shiny by choice and if hair wash in done well. Haircuts ,adding extensions, adding accessories and more hats also included.
Interior designer - sims 3 one had a lot of glitches, otherwise it was the best career idea The Sims have thought of. So pretty similar to the Sims 3 one but they work in an office/firm and get their appointments from there. Then they go to people's homes/businesses and change the interior. Unlike Sims 3, they get a clearer brief of costumers requirements and easier access to it and they get given the costumers' budget (that's what ruined the sims 3 one as the clients kept on saying they can't afford it when we don't go over their budget) .As they go up the ladder, they can work from home and do freelancer work. The work they do for the clients can be rated : terrible, OK, perfect or 1-10/10. At the firm, they practice drawing/designing/3D modelling/CAD drawing, clients can turn up to appointments discuss their briefs with the designers, the interior designers can work with the graphic designers and the designers can make friends with colleagues and have coffee breaks at the canteen. more furniture, wall painting and flooring must be added to the game!!
Architect- Similar to interior designer career just just working on the walls, exterior, landscape and adding floors/basements to people's homes and community lots. They work in the same firm as the interior designers and can collaborate with them.
make up artist- work at a beauty salon. Do sims make up and nails. Gain make up skill so they need to practice doing make up. so yes, possible clown faces. A wider range of make up in the game, including fake lashes, nails and foundation.
maintenance careers- sims can be a cleaner, plumber or an electrician. They go to people's home and fix typical domestic problems- cleaning the house, fixing electrical goods and fixing toilets/showers. They can even go to community loots and businesses and do maintenance work there.
