*Everyone - Last year I always said during the challenge that comments are not mandatory. As @Ellupelluellu shared I don't have any rules for them and didn't feel it was necessary to have any rules. Comments are always wonderful to get and very motivating, at least for me. However, I don't want anyone to feel stressed about doing them if they don't have time for it due to real life responsibilities or other personal reasons! Of course those are most important and always come first! This is supposed to be fun, not a chore.
I know it can seem very daunting and stressful trying to do them for everyone, even when you want to, just because. I would suggest only writing comments to those who have commented on yours or ask you a question, again as Ellu has shared she will be doing at some point. It just makes sense doing it that way. If you still want to do comments for everyone, regardless if they've commented on yours or not, of course that's up to you.
I've been writing comments for everyone, but will admit now that's it's starting to become stressful. I love commenting, but I have a tendency to write TOO much. I can't help it. I've tried cutting them short in the past and it just doesn't work. :D So it's my own fault really. But in an effort to keep my sanity, fingernails and hair, I'll be doing the same. I hope y'all understand. I will, of course, always read everyone's posts and give out awesomes though, please know that will always be true. :)
Forgot to add, Thank You very much Ellu for your post, it was very much appreciated and a well written insight on this subject! <3

Bummer about the insects attacking her, but glad she tried fishing and likes it! That's a plus! :) Chess is always a fun activity too! Plus, it'll get her logic up other aspirations in the future.

Thanks, that was a fun update with the convo between Cale and me. It was an experiment really, not sure what I think about it. It was fun, but I probably won't do much of it from here on out. Cale has a way of looking straight at me though, just as Josh would do, as if he's trying to tell me something, so I just ran with it for fun. :) Yes, I loved saving all the mementos and photos to display in their homes. It made it seem more like 'their' home every time they moved. I'll most likely be doing the same thing with Cale. :)
Beautiful daily post pic of Lucy. I love those two lots where she's standing. I've had many a SIm live on both of them. :)

My best advice about those Simmi machines is to never, ever have them shake the machine if they have any kind of negative moodlet active associated with those machines. Thanks about his shack, I like it too! :) Yep, locking the doors will somewhat deter them. Or setting the door to disallow vampires. I've unlocked the door now though. It was just that one time I didn't want him to be under the affects of a bite. I'm one of those that normally wants break-ins as the pack intended. :)
Yes, I am! I'm trying to make this as challenging as I can. He won't have the tiny living lot trait and I don't plan to buy many, if any, reward traits for him either. The climbing gear does help them progress faster, and it helps to keep them from falling too much as well. At least on the bigger hills. Starting out, they always fall regardless, but they're not in danger of dying on the small hills.
Oh Wow, they went back right away and climbed the mountain again? Very brave of them to do that, and very generous of Kyoshi's parents to let him do that! Congrats on getting Gold this time.

Yes, I normally do that as well, if the moodlet causing something interesting to happen. For example in my update for Cale today. The faces he makes when he's angry just beg for it. I'm finding it interesting playing him since he's hot-headed and mean. Never had a Sim like that before. hehe Very cool about DJ building a bunch of Snowpals around his lot. I always thought it would be fun to have my Sims build an army of them, or perhaps have an erratic Sim think one is their friend and talk to it all the time. Wouldn't that be fun? Be sad though when it melts. o.O Oh no! What happened to my friend!? hehe
