The next day it was finally the weekend, so Robin headed to the park, hoping that she'd have some luck with fishing. Unfortunately, it was too frozen.

However, a figure from her past strolled by. This is Ophelia, vampire daughter of Lydia Straud (daughter of Vlad) and Kat Cave, honestly a bit of complex story if you didn't follow my story last year, so if you have any questions, I'd be happy to elaborate.

Ophelia and Robin did not hit it off well as children, and are enemies because of this, but it does appear that Robin has a thing for vampires just like her dear old mom ;)
"Poppy! What are you doing out here in the cold?" (Poppy is her older brother Rowan's cat)

And sure enough, Rowan wasn't far.

"Okay, what are you guys doing here?" Robin asked, scooping up Ruby's elderly cat, Dill. (Apparently it's bring your cat to Mt. Komorebi day :joy:)
"Fine, you caught us," Ruby admitted. "Mom wanted us to come check on you without being too intrusive on your independence." Robin found she didn't mind though. It was sweet how much her family cared for her.

Apparently Mt. Komorebi is quite the vampire destination too. And that's just not fair :D Guess Lydia has some magical vampire powers coming to her aid lol.

It was also the new skill day holiday, so Robin played a game of chess with Brant Hecking, while Catarina Lynx and some enthusiastic toddlers cheered them on.

Back at home, Robin made the autonomous decision to plunge into the icy river, and Pepper (gladly?) joined her too.

The festival of youth spawned, so she headed over to grab a bite to eat.

And Aaron came by and autonomously began chatting with her! It looks like Robin will have a new friend :) @afai1261

He got up to grab a bite to eat too, but soon came back to continue their conversation.

The festival suddenly ended, vaporizing the table Aaron had been eating at, much to his chagrin.
