Oh my all these rooms are so pretty! I think I am almost-sorta-kinda happy with mine, just need time to log in and play test it all then hopefully it'll be done,it has gone down a different route (far more traditional and expensive looking) to where I thought it was going to though. Funny how one decor choice can set you off on a different track, but I found a wall covering I liked and everything else just went from there lol
@ReneVeronicaZlta Ooo love your MOO-d 'top table' tablecloth effect,so clever, and at night that party looks like it's going to be MAJOR <3
@Liziann1 Hope you got your building issues solved so we can see *eagerly awaits*
@EAfan99 Purple you say....*is intrigued to seeeeee*
@Puncky99 Yay you got it all sorted this time :D I love that mauve-y (yes, that is a word) wall colour with all the cream accents,so pretty!
@gmcrozier :O I love all the different areas you've created,it's all just gorgeous but would be really functional too for a Sim party. Could easily be adapted to an entire venue too! Actually this was (is?) a bit of a quandry I find myself in,I keep dithering as to what to put in or leave out...maybe I should do the room for this thread and then adapt it to an entire landscaped venue too as a separate upload, not sure :S It's hard for me to edit a theme like this as I get a tad carried away >.<
@pottergoose I hope you find a way to get inspiration on how to finish, probably totally redundant suggestion (my speciality) but have you tried googling for images of real-life wedding venues in the theme you had in mind? You might see a colour combination or whatever that inspires you so that even if you can't totally Simify it,it can get your mind shooting off in other avenues that could work,I know it's helped me before when I draw a blank. Also, having a break from a build then coming back to it later can sometimes help you immediately see what you want to change, can also be useful for things like wall coverings, flooring etc to draw out a random section of wall and add on a section of anything and everything that might vaguely fit your theme, place floor tiles in the same way and then step back to see which combinations work or are possible in the swatches. Don't get stressed by it but I hope you stick with it,hang in there!
@kamb1403 So pretty! Love the lemon and white scheme mixed with the wood floor, and how the dance floor is central to the dining tables. Nice use of the snowflake lights too :)
@Karababy52 Ohhh love your outdoor reception! I did toy with the idea of trying it myself, but I couldn't have made it work like that! (Plus I'm from the UK and an outdoor reception is counter-intuitive to me :P ) I just love the idea of the fountain bubbling away softly while everyone tucks into their cupcakes in the sunshine, surrounded by flowers (the neon light on the bar is a fun addition too!). Such a pretty build <3
