I'll be playing with Dela Ostrow and Mia Hayes, the couple featured on the sims cover art and on the banner of the forums here as well. I've given them both makeovers, but I hope they're still recognizable enough. They live in one of the San Myshuno apartments, and they're quite miserable to be living together still, but with how expensive rent is these days and breaking the lease was not a great option, they're stuck together. They look great @permanentrose. <3 I am in the process of furnishing Victor and Ali's Stonestreet apartment. So they are in a similar situation of course. I may bring a fixer upper ranch into it later, depending on how the relationship/s, work and everything goes. One of them may find they have an unexpected inheritance, but it needs more than a little TLC...I don't have specific plans of stick together or break up. I intend to put some of my other Sims in and just see what happens.

@permanentrose I couldn't have a dog in the household to start with, but adopting one ingame was fine. I hope Dela and Mia enjoy their kitty!

This is a great idea @NRowe Lately I have been building so much, it is fun to play the game again. Do you mind if I join in? As it happens I have a few moments over the next few days to play the game.

I created them with the story mode to create characters. Okay, I cheated a bit and rerolled the 3rd question long enough to end up with occult sims. ;)

Marco is an artist with skills in violin and guitar
traits: music lover, romantic, neat, collector

Adrielle is in the culinairy career and loves cooking and baking
traits: collector, good, active, foodie

The first days were like a dream but one night he finally found out why she was so reluctant to move in.

She was angry and embarrassed at being exposed like this. He felt hurt because she didn't trust him enough to share her secret. Now both of them are stuck together in the same house until the spell wears off.

Edit : these pics were made with a copy of my sims without the scenario. For some reason I enjoyed giving them a proper back story. For the scenario itself I now have everything in place to start.

Last post for now, as I need to take a break to get some other projects done, and I feel like I'm plowing ahead rather quickly while you all get started haha. I am recovering from a pretty extensive surgery right now and can't do much else so it has been fun to delve into the sims again recently :)

Having a cat around with the newly discovered rodent infestation was definitely a plus, and Dela found she didn't even have the heart to scold Sushi as she jumped up on the table to join her for breakfast.

After Dela went to work, Mia busked for a bit. Dela had always complained that her work was too sporadic, wishing Mia would stick to one career and have a stable income, but Mia loved spontaneity and could never stick to anything for very long.

Dela looked a bit taken aback as the woman led her up to the stage, and the two of them began to sing.

"Is she moving on already?" Mia seethed. "And with karaoke of all things! That's OUR thing."
Noah was sympathetic, but much more rational than Mia. "That's Penny Pizzazz. She's been working on a project with Dela." Of course, having mutual friends with her ex meant that Mia couldn't expect Noah to completely take her side. "You should go up and ask Dela if she'll sing with you. Since you two are stuck living together, you might as well get on friendly terms again, and I know neither of you can resist a good duet."

Mia couldn't argue with that. She downed the rest of her drink, and bravely approached Dela, who hesitantly accepted her offer, unable to help but to crack a small smile.

Getting these sims not to hate each other is REALLY hard, just a heads up. I looked up some tips and this is what has been working best. First, let the negative sentiments fade away before trying to interact too much (I definitely messed this one up a lot in the beginning as you can see haha). Then I saw a tip to make a club where you ban negative interactions between members and make friendly interactions the desired interactions. This helped a lot, especially after I had them both apologize over and over again. And then doing things like playing chess together also help lower the red friendship bar. It's taking forever to get them out of the red, but using these tricks, it's finally happening. Just thought I'd let you all know so you don't get super frustrated like I was if you're planning to patch up a friendship or romance with your two main sims haha.

Comments in no particular order: The various pets are gorgeous. I rather like Sarah’s glasses and dress combo. I like the occult twist to that story, wondering now about introducing into mine at a later stage. Karaoke night was very sweet. Thanks for the tips permanentrose! o:)

I’ve finally got Victor and Ali settled (however unhappily) into their apartment. Pictures soon to follow, I promise; but I’m away from my computer again right at the moment. :p
