There was some individual square manipulation, but not painstaking at all. ? The rectangular marquee tool makes it super easy to select any size square/rectangle you want and then apply effects to just the part you have selected. The circular version of that tool helped create the round lighting effect in the background. It’s basically 4 Photoshop layers; from bottom to top: a gradient layer, a lighting effects layer, a texture layer, and then the sim image on top. I just play around with layer types (overlay, multiply, color dodge, etc) until something strikes my fancy. It’s the most relaxing past time ever, my favorite time waster. ?
