The blurred background is done with depth of field shaders that you can turn on and off as you need. When you have the ReShade menu open in your game and you have a preset loaded, look at the list of shaders - the ones that are checked off are the ones in use. Now look for shaders with ‘DOF’ in the name - those are your depth of field shaders and it’s as simple as clicking in the box next to one! ?
You might see:
ADOF (usually my favorite)
CinematicDOF (but sometimes this one works best for me depending on the scene)
FocalDOF
I think I found most of my presets by searching on YouTube for sims 4 ReShade preset and the videos were usually by the creator and included links for downloading. That was a great way to check them out and see what they really look like before downloading. I have a bunch, but honestly, I use Utopia Skies 99% of the time, lol. ?
