It's interesting to see how different people do different things with different lots. I've been building like crazy but I keep forgetting to take pictures.

Welcome to Pixel Acres! A naturalist commune which is a re-design of the "nudist colony" lot from The Sims Bustin' Out. This version is a residential so I couldn't apply the "Clothing Optional" Trait... but can easily be converted to a public lot with the trait.

Some things I am proud of, my functional, in-ground, "hot spring", and the outdoor shower. It is completely play-tested, and no cc!

@rjhenn14 oh wow that is so well done! The hot spring looks awesome :D One question though: do the sims get uncomfortable moodlets when showering there? Anyhoo, I LOVE the off the grid trait! I'm really enjoying it a lot to play communities that live in places like the one you've built! I just really, really wish they'll let us use the washtub on these lots. It's the only thing that's annoying me about it xD Anyhoo, I'll make sure to download your lot for future use!

I have another build. I bulldozed the bar in Sulani to put a karaoke bar in its place.

And your sim can still enter the water by walking off of the beach:

But a ladder can be placed on the boat by removing the fencing and items debris near the boat so your sim can get in the water that way:



I did to use the moveobjects cheat to make the fence and ladder work together but the length of the fence was to long so it went across the ladder causing it not to work. But if you don't mind a gap between the fence and ladder you'd still have a way for your sim to get into the water using the ladder:

And then after getting done with the build, I was like "This would make a fun fixer upper for a broke sim to work on and restore since the backstory I made is that the houseboat was abandoned after being ran aground."

So I redid it as a fixer upper to use in another play file:

So your sims have a choice between staying in the furnished, and livable, Beached Houseboat or taking on the mighty task of rebuilding the Fixer-Uppper Houseboat as they embark on their new island life.

I built a replica of the lodge we stayed in on holiday this year, except the real life lodge was unfortunately not over water. It was built on Pier Perfection and is uploaded under elliebreton if anyone is interested.

@MDianaSanders ohh that is so colorful! Fits the world super well. And who wouldn't want a karaoke bar at the beach?
