Hello rosemow and everyone!
Hope you're all having a Splendid Sim Saturday,
Just a question about an idea that has been going around in my mind since my Orphan Sims stories was highlighted this week. I was thinking of moving them all to a separate game save called Valley Orphans to go with their corresponding thread. That way each of my games have their own thread and it would also free up some space in my main game save for the grown children in that save to have their own homes after graduation or am I overthinking things?
It sounds like a good idea for them to have a separate save game, corresponding to their thread 🙂 You could then follow along with how their sims lives are progressing in that particular save and it relates to that thread.
Thanks for the input, Rose. One of my first Sim friends, Simslover163 who is also a Facebook friend likes the idea, too so that's what I'm going to do. I'll move after my next visits in my game rotations and make sure I save their house and household as they are now so it will be more like a continuation of their story but in the new save,
It would be kind of like a parallel universe of sorts. I hope to put most of them in the same worlds that they are now in unless any overlap then the household would go into a different world fit my not-set-in-stone, one household per world. I think the Sims 4 scenario, 'Aliens Stole My Parents would a good way to begin that game save. Would keep the orphans in their original game saves if they were adopted my one my original households, though.
Thanks for letting me brainstorm with you. Now it's time to finish the back story I started earlier for Eugi and Giovannia that I'm writing in the first person with Giovannia telling her story. Guess I got my scenario household mixed up. They were actually for the Surviving the Holidays scenario where two Sims start out living together as enemies but over time slowly become friends and perhaps lovers. Hope you'll enjoy their story when I finish with it.
