The kitchen is lovely! 🙂The red and white colours are very nice and pretty floral wall panels. The furnishing is lovely. The dining area is great. The seating that you have used is very nice and pretty patterned rug. It looks great the way the bar counter divides the room.
Just finished decorating Clyde's kitchen. I decided to put a full wall between the living room & kitchen and use the barn door archway. May keep the wallcovering the same in the living area to make the rooms flow together.
Used the decor styles of Farmhouse, French Country, Queen Anne & Modern with red & white decor with color in the wall plant accents.
Dining area of the kitchen
That's all for now. May put something above the archway when I think of what to put.
The exterior design of Clyde’s home is very nice. 🙂 The red and white colours are great and very nice wraparound porch. The interior layout is great. I hope that the furnishing goes well 🙂
Just stopping by with some pictures of the house that I'm building for my newest Orphan Teen or left home for some reason as a teenager but will figure that out after he gets settled into his future new home in Henford.
Meet the newest teen Sim who will be joining my Silverford Valley rotation. His name is Clyde Slack and after researching his last name, it apparently originates from the Yorkshire, Derbyshire & Lancashire regions of Northern England which are areas that inspired Henford-on-Bagley so that turns out to be a good world to put him in. His backstory will probably be based on this information and the fact that he wants to be a Country Caretaker.
This is the shell of Clyde's new home in Henford-on-Bagley that is being built on the 14 Nettle Lane lot which I believe used to be the Moody home. The exterior uses two of his favorite colors, red & white with Farmhouse style siding & windows, Mission windows, doors & friezes and French Country. Clyde is my second teen sim to not like the Basics decor style so this house will be built & decorated without these items except for a washer and dryer. Anyways this is the front view of Clyde's future county home.
View from the back. I used a country house plan that was in my Facebook newsfeed as a guide but had to modify it to fit the lot.
Here is an interior view of the main floor layout with the walls down. The master bedroom will be in the back left corner with the up & down staircases at the end of the hallway. Just the staircase to the downstairs has been placed for now until there's a need for a second floor. There's a spare room to the left of the entry with space for the main bath between the two bedrooms and the hallway will have an archway access. Future open kitchen/dining at the back with living area in the front. I'm debating on whether or not to make a full wall dividing the living & kitchen with an archway of sorts but will see how things go.
Overview with walls up.
This is the front & side wrap around porch. The original plan had just a front step with a covered roof so I decided to keep it covered by extending the roof instead of making a glass covered one since making a separate roof over it didn't really work in this case but maybe if a second floor is added, I'll probably just have an open balcony above it.
That's all for now and I hope to start decorating Clyde's living & kitchen areas today.
The palace is very lovely! 🙂The architectural exterior design is very great! Very nice towers and stained glass windows. The greenhouse is very nice and the stable is great. I hope that your work on the interior goes well!
Finally getting around to building in Ondarion!! This is on the 64x64 lot in Bellacorde (I absolutely love the name of that neighborhood btw).
Exterior only right now, I'll be starting on the interior this week! But I have a two story greenhouse and a stable, and plans to add a basement level for kitchen/laundry and staff quarters!
The outdoors dining porch is lovely 🙂It is a very nice nook area to enjoy eating meals and a drink outdoors. The torch lighting is pretty! The flowers are lovely along the edges. The teapots wall cabinet is very nice there.
Hope you're all having a Tremendious Tuesday and were able to enjoy the rare 'Blood Full Moon' early this morning.
PaxxieLovesDinos Your remake of Copperdale High looks great so far.
Here are a few pictures of the small out eating area that I decorated for Kaori Nishidake off her kitchen. It uses a mixture of Basics, Patio, Garden, & Modern style with a touch of Island lighting items.
With such a small area there's not much room for a lot of decor but Kaori was able to have grill, pizza oven & hot chocolate tray on the end Basic style counter top pieces with a small table with two chairs.
Here are a couple views of the side deck from the yard.
That's all for now and hope to get started on building home for my newest 'Orphan Teen, Clyde Slack' who will be living in Henford while pursuing his Country Caretaker dream.
The hobby room is lovely 🙂It is a great place for him to have the recycling machine, as well as use the treadmill to keep fit. The blue and white colours are very nice. The furnishing is lovely. The streamers on the wall and the white wall hanging decor are very nice. The wall art is lovely.
