Here's the introduction to my founding Sim, Grace Ford and her family in the country town of Henford-on-Bagley who live on a hobby farm called, 'GRACEFUL RANCH"

THE STORY OF A COUNTRY GIRL

Grace was adopted as a young girl by two loving parents who lived in a small farming community that was about a 30-minute drive to the nearest big city.   She was a shy little girl and had a hard time making friends in school but over the years developed close friendships with her cousins and close family friends.  As they say, it’s not the quantity of friends that count but the quality of them.

Throughout the years her family had a variety of pets including cats, dogs and horses.  Grace loved animals from an early age and before her adoption could be found playing with a German Shepherd who lived in her early childhood neighborhood.  Over the years Grace’s pets became her refuge from being made fun of in school between that and spending time in the barn taking care of the family’s horses, doing the barn chores and taking riding lessons.  Now that she has grown up and has her own family and hobby farm, Grace hopes to adopt a horse soon.

Shortly after    graduating from high school and attending some college,  Grace decided to follow her dream of having a hobby farm in the country where she could raise chickens, pets and other farm animals including a horse.  One day while gong one drive in the country with her parents they came across the charming town of Henford-on-Bagley and fell in love with area and saved up her money to buy a large lot that was perfect for her ‘Hobby Farm’.   Before he passed away, Grace’s father, who was a carpenter, built her home based somewhat on the house she grew up in but modified to meet the needs of her future family.   

Shortly after moving in, Grace decided to become a gardener so w she could work from home and on the job when needed.   Due to Grace’s cheerful and generous ways, she found out that making friends wasn’t so hard after all and quickly made close friends with her neighbor, Alex Moyer and others who stopped by to say ‘Hello’.   It didn’t take long for Grace to meet her future soulmate, Manual Aguiar who lived in a neighboring town who asked her out on a date after seeing her profile on the local dating website and as they say the rest is history.  It wasn’t long before Grace & Manuel were married, and she became Mrs. Grace Aguilar.  They now have two lovely little girls, Robin who is now a toddler and their newborn, Charlee.

Hope you all had a Fantastic Friday!   

Here are some candid photos of Manuel & Grace Aguilar and their family that I took while visiting (playing) them during Prank Day in Chestnut ridge.   Near the end of my visit with them, Manuel was abducted by aliens (my first one since coming back to the game last November).  Before ending my visit, I decided to age little Charlee to an infant just in case Manuel turned out to be pregnant while playing my Leaders of Hope household, whom I will introduce in my next post.  As you'll see in the last photo Manuel is very much pregnant with an alien baby, Eugi Mize met him while visiting the Finchwick Pub & Cafe appease some gnomes on Harvestfest day.

Now let's meet Grace and her family.

This is Grace Ford (now Aguilar).  I updated her traits from my original Simself as some of the new traits fit her personality, too.  While Grace is still a foodie (although the real me is less of that now that I've been changing my lifestyle to manage my sugars for Type 2 Diabetes).  Maybe I'll buy her the 'lean' potion with some happiness points to match my weight loss in real life.  Now back to Grace,  she's also a very generous person who loves to bestow happiness, empathy and anything else positive to everyone she meets.  Grace is also an Animal Enthusiast and since moving to Henford -on-Bagley, she has also found out that she's cheerful, an insider and  neat.  Maybe I should take more after her on that last one.  Grace has since joined the 'Good Timers' club .

Next we have Manuel Aguilar who was originally part of the Dynamic Daters household in Ciudad Enamorada.  Manuel had been looking for his 'Soulmate and as soon as he met Grace, he knew that she was the one and Grace returned his sentiment.  Their love story is told in the above post.  Manuel is a wonderful, loving husband and father to two lovely little girls, Robin and Charlee.  Being  a 'lovebug',  Manuel loves to shower his family with lots of love and support,  Manuel is also very Self-Assured and is a music lover and now that he's completed his first aspiration of finding his 'Soulmate', Manuel has decided to become a 'Musical Genius'.  Since marrying Grace, Manuel has also discovered that he is a cheerful, neat and proper person. 

Meet Manuel and Grace's angelic and talkative little toddler, Robin who loves sounds and is an early riser but she's a very picky eater.

Meet little Charlee who grew up into a calm little girl but is also very gassy at times.  Will have to wait she what other quirks she develops in her infant years.

Last but not least, here's a candid photo of Manuel looking very uncomfortable as he awaits the arrival of a little bundle of extraterrestrial joy that's growing inside of him.  Eugi Mize of my Leaders of Hope household is sitting at the end of the bar in Henford-on-Bagley.

Hope you all had a wonderful day and now it's time to meet the latest household to the Silverford Valley world.  

Please welcome the Leaders of Hope  household featuring Giovannia Leavitt who is a vampire and Eugi Mize who is a regular Sim living in her guest house.   I will let Giovannia tell the story of how that over years since they met and became friends, then enemies and now good friends and lovebirds.  This proves that no relationship is beyond repair whether it's in the Sim world or real life.  

JOURNEY FROM ENEMIES TO LOVERS

(Note this household was part of the ‘Surviving the Holidays’ scenario back in 2021 that has since ended )

 Hello, my name is Giovannia Leavitt and I am here to share my story and how I met and became friends Eugi Mize and he went to being  friends at one time to becoming enemies over time and then our journey back to friendship which will hopefully  lead to something more as time goes on.

 As they say, when telling a story, one should start at the very beginning but I won’t go back quite that far except to say that I was born into a prominent Vampire family living on the outskirts of the Forgotten Hollow neighborhood.  My parents were known as Count and Countess Leavitt who were prominent members of the local chapter of vampires and hosted many parties for their vampire neighbors. They were never hostile to living people of the land and even made friends with many of them who allowed them to quench their thirst on them when the normal vampire resources like plasma fruit juice packs and supplies for making vampiric meals ran out. 

 Although I’m a vampire and should love drinking blood from humans, I never could bring myself to do it since the ‘squeamish’ side of me makes me sick at the sight of blood.  My mother would make plasma juice packs for me from plasma fruit, fish and the blood that she and my father saved from Sims who wanted to become vampires like us.  Despite being squeamish, I somehow enjoyed fishing except for taking them off the fishhook but it was for a good cause, my meals.  For that reason, I could only catch one or two fish at a time before getting sick to my stomach fishing helped kept me from having to drink someone’s blood.  Due to a steady diet of plasma packs and the lack of blood in my veins, I am also lactose intolerant.  Despite all that, I haven’t let being squeamish keep me from keeping my home ‘neat’ and tidy despite having to clean many unpleasant messes and find ways to be ‘cheerful’ about it.  Being an insider has gotten me an invitation to join the Spin Masters club and thoroughly enjoyed my first meeting with them dancing and making new friends.

 Now enough about me, let’s get back to how Eugi and I went from being friends to enemies and now back to friends.  While I was still in high school, a mysterious illness swept through various neighborhoods around the Sim world.  At first it seemed like a normal cold virus but when the doctors at the local hospital were seeing many Sims, especially the elderly ones were getting hit the hardest with this virus and initially, it appeared to be a typical cold, but local doctors soon noticed that many Sims—particularly the elderly—were being severely affected when weakened their bodies so much that they did not survive leaving loved ones to mourn. 

One of my classmates in high school, Eugi Mize was left alone when his single mother who was a senior at the time, passed away from complications from having this virus.  Believe it or not we were good friends at the time, so my parents decided to become his guardians since he had no close relatives to take him in since vampires weren’t affected by this illness which was probably because of the lack of blood in our systems and to be safe we did not drink from any of our regular Sim friends during this time. 

Shortly after this, things went haywire in the health care world as the virus began to get worse and spread like wildfire throughout the Sim communities around the world and health officials enforced a lockdown keeping us all inside for many months that turned into well over a year.  This made even the nicest sims go stir crazy, which is what happened to Eugi, and I when we started arguing all the time after being confined to one house for so long and not being able to see our friends.  We said some mean things to each other that caused a huge rift in our relationship to the point that we started to hate each other and over time went from being good friends to enemies.

After the virus had run its course and things slowly return to normal, Eugi moved out on his own after graduating from high school to pursue his dream of learning everything there is to know about the actors who live in the special town of Batuu where these Sims immerse themselves into a lifestyle of the characters they play in the hit TV series based on the Sim version of Star Wars as he searches for Hope and Order.  After Eugi left I was heartbroken but always hoped that one day we would meet again and renew our friendship. 

One day while attending the premiere of the Star Wars movie, we ran into each other and began , talking over our differences.  Since I still considered Eugi a brother, I invited him to move into the little two-story guest house I had built in the backyard of my childhood home that I had inherited from my parents who had decided to buy a motorhome so that they could travel around the Sim world visiting other vampire communities they came across during their travels.  Eugi agreed to move into the guesthouse.  Since he’s human, Eugi decided to get some chickens so that he could have fresh eggs for breakfast each morning.   He has also agreed to do most of the fishing for me so that I can make quality plasma packs for myself.  We have been renewing our friendship since and are now to the point we are more than friends as we are slowly falling in love with each other.  We will keep you updated on any new developments on the romantic side of things as time goes on.

Here are some photos of our first week together during the autumn season in Silverwood Valley's Forgotten Hollow vampire neighborhood.

Meet Eugi who is enjoying his first meal after returning from a trip to  Batuu to continue his Hope and Order aspiration.  When Giovannia first met Eugi in high school and after moving in her family she notice that he loved playing with toys and felt that was awfully 'childish' for someone his age.  Maybe that's when their friendship first began to take a hit but at least playing with toys kept Eugi during the many months they were stuck inside together as Giovannia mentioned above.  One the plus side, Eugi always cleaned up after himself due to his 'perfectionistic' ways.  After high school, Eugi developed a love for romance novels and movies which awakened his 'romantic' side that he didn't know he had. During their years apart, Eugi never forgot Giovannia and hoped they would meet and become friends again.  You can imagine his surprise when she showed up at the premiere of his favorite Star Wars movie at a local movie theatre.  After catching up with each other, Giovannia surprised him by inviting him to live in her guest house while he pursues his Hope and Order dreams.   Since then one thing has led to another in that he has become more outgoing when meeting new friends and after getting to know Giovannia he is slowly falling in love with her and hopes that she is beginning to share the same feelings.  Maybe now they can put the past behind them and move forward in building a life together.  Only time will tell.

Giovannia is having lots of fun at her first club meeting with the Spin Masters which is headed by Dominic Fyres.

With winter just around the corner, Eugi and Giovannia are enjoying the evening air together while he eats his supper on the patio outside the guesthouse.

It was great reading the background details of Giovannia and Eugi! 🙂 I was wondering how they came to be living in the same home, with Eugi in the guest house. It was great reading about Giovannia being a vampire but not liking drinking blood with her being squeamish. You very cleverly and descriptively incorporated into the descriptions of both of them what their traits are 🙂It is good that after becoming friends, and then enemies, their friendship has now returned again. I hope that their relationship may develop well 💗
