Just click your own sim and select 'form group'
but toddlers walk slow so they drag behind. Adults don't walk slow for them nor hold their hand.
I really wish that parents followed toddlers around. I hate going anywhere with toddlers and parents not caring when toddlers wonder off. None of the other sims in the area care, either.
Indeed. I had one toddler who went to a bar in San Myshino alone. If he had money, he'd probably would have been able to buy a drink without anyone caring... Funny, yet that takes the immersion away. - neylajc7 years agoSeasoned AceSeems like something bad parents need. I miss the days when people just watched their kids.

Bad parents?
No.
Good parents with runner toddlers need them.
A bad parent would just let their tot run into traffic, a good parent would have a handy way to keep them close.
I ran out of a shop once as a toddler. Never again, cos I was kept on the leash... like the freak I am.
Also, what days are you thinking of? Toddler leashes have been used since the middle ages. Perhaps you're reminiscing of ancient times, when tots fell into fires, and ran under the wheels of chariots? Or prehistory, when they wondered off, and became lunch of predators. - simgirl5427 years agoSeasoned AceMy aunt has one for her grandson. He's getting too big to carry. He's almost four. (she's raising him)
As someone who used to babysit all the time this would have come in handy. I have another cousin who grew up in the 90's. His mom had the wrist strap for him. That thing was awful especially in large crowds. I like the idea of the harness for toddlers especially for busy places like zoos or theme/amusement parks. I went to a theme park with my cousin who grew up in the 90's when he was five and I was a teen and I was practically a helicopter cousin because I was so nervous about letting go of his hand. A harness would have helped.
I would use one of these for my sim toddlers if someone made a mod for one especially since I just found a mod for toddlers to go for walks with older sims (I don't remember the exact name though) - Strollers for babies and toddlers, yes I'd like. No leashes tho.
- We definitely needs strollers toddlers. And the leaches would be so fun.
- Briana25267 years agoSeasoned AceI'm in for strollers put them in walk take him out when reached destination but leashes no the only time I have seen kids/ tots on leashes we're at amusement parks but on the street walking it's strollers.
- This mod might help: "triplis github io toddler-walk-together"
Just google it. - SimAlexandria7 years agoSeasoned Ace

I blame the hipsters for bringing toddler leashes back...
No, blame lazy Baby Boomer parents for that one. Baby leashes were brought back in the 90's, after all.
Go ahead and bring strollers back, but not those awful baby leashes. They're so inhumane and just scream, "I had a baby for baby-having's sake and I have no idea what the ever-loving heck I'm doing now! Help me!"
Before that. My friends and I were on leashes in the early 80s haha - SimAlexandria7 years agoSeasoned AceI really don't know what's wrong with a leash on a toddler, like how is a stroller any better? Kids like to be out and explore and getting exercise not sitting in a stroller (which serves a purpose too but don't get why ppl think it's better than a leash). And sure you can hold a kids hand but what if you have 3 kids or your kids prefer to have their hands free? I mean the toddlers I have seen have had no issues with it and as long as the kids are happy and safe it seems like a good thing to me
