Not fancy, but ceiling anyway. First changes have already started to take place in Simmingals save as she explores the options
Cordelias pirate ship has new ceilings!
Moonwood Collectives cabin has new ceilings!
Forgotten Hollow in general, is looking forward to some new ceilings!

- Too bad I just wrapped up filming the Selvadorada episodes of my machinima series. Could have used the ceiling textures a week ago, then I wouldn't have had to go out of my way to keep the perfectly clean white ceiling out of the shots in my custom ancient temple. :D
I haven't played the game since the update, but I'm definitely going to use this feature a lot. The white ceiling is fine for most modern buildings and even some of the not so modern ones, but special houses like the Goth mansion and the Granite Falls cabins require something a little more stylish. Some Selvadorada ceilings 😎
Mt.Komorebi proved slightly challenging,
because lot of the time you have something like this for exterior
so painting the ceiling only makes the part between roof and ceiling more obvious :/
but some houses were less offensive on that front so I could edit them
insides also yes, some woody ceilings were added all around
I find it adds nice grounding element to these minimal rooms I have
would have loved to do this one room in onsen but its uh,
also weird for some reason to do with roof so I don't want to draw attention there
also one problem I noted is that the white ceiling option does not show in catalog

Putting floor textures in the place where the roof is and painting them from below should make it seem like the roof's underside is painted. Just watch where the roof ends so the floor underneath it is not visible. For the slanted parts, could a roof frame help, maybe?

I think I'll just keep those strange ceilings white for time being

hopefully people will join me in this ceiling celebration and we will see many many ceilings 😎- All the rooms look so much better with a proper ceiling. Can't wait to update some of my lots with them once I download the patch.
