She was also a truck driver. I think her mother had a lot to do with the family remaining in London during the war. They didn't flee to the country, they remained for the morale of the people who had to remain in the city.

Nah, it's not really a stereotype, it's a disneyfication.
Real royals are pretty damn interesting.
Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria had a lot of interest in science, education and industry, he pushed to improve all of these things in the UK. Prince Harry has been a soldier for the past 10 years, but seems to be moving into charity work, both are quite a strong contrast to his party-boy reputation.
Sure, there are jokes about Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2011/images/05/12/c1main.beatrice.eugenie.jpg

The reality of royalty is that they do a lot of work, and struggle to have private lives. The constant public attention puts a lot of strain on roayl relationships.

The royals should be called for opening ceremonies when we build bridges (proper bridges over water), and new official buildings.
This is more like what I'm thinking would work. A royal wave that makes the crowd cheer would be awesome. Little girls giving royal women bunches of flowers. Maybe the occasional person passing out, in awe of meeting a royal. There'd need to be military parades too, withthe occasional soldier passing out It happens to the Danes too
One thing that royals could do, is have much more spectacular versions of celebrations and such. This is from the Queen Mothers funeral. http://static2.businessinsider.com/image/54f9b41cdd0895223a8b45a4-1190-625/the-death-of-queen-elizabeth-will-be-the-most-disruptive-event-in-britain-in-the-last-70-years.jpg Her four grandsons stand gaurd on the corners. Two in military uniform, two not.
The royals also seem to do a lot of waving form balconies. https://apimagesblog.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/ap_363019869135.jpg?w=770&h=454 Trivia: The Queen is always dressed in contrast to the people around her, so that she is visible to her security team.
Hmmm speaking of security, they could bring back buglars, ones who try to steal the crown jewels.
Yes, we must have this game pack, because we are very limited to having real royals as it is now. I have started my own royal family, though, hoping for better days to come. First I'll show you our Danish royal crown prince couple: Frederik and Mary, our king and queen to be.
And this is our gordious queen, Margrethe d. 2. I would love to have dresses like this.
Now to my Sims' royal wedding, where I had to download clothes to make them look just a tiny bit alike. The groom is my angel's grandson Saturn, and the bride is the revived Windenburg ghost, Matilde. Now calling their guests.
And the: You can kiss the bride photo. Love it.
A big family of the new king to be has come and we also have two of his sisters as bridemaids.
And the first bite of the wedding cake to share. So cute.
A toast for my lovely bride. This is optional and a little speech which is simply so fine.
And after the toast and speech he gets a kiss from his bride. A lovely, royal day in my game.
There is nothing I want more than a Sims 4 royal family. There have been some Royal families in the game.
1) Jacob Houwdegen is the deceased fourth son of Count Radbout Houwdegen and the third son of Royal Consort Samantha. He has two brothers Henry en Petrus and a half-brother Phillip. Before his death he was engaged with Olive Specter.
2) Henry Houwdegen is the oldest son of Count Radbout Houwdegen and Royal Consort Samantha. He has two younger brothers Petrus and Jacob and a half-brother Phillip Houwdegen. Henry is the husband of Genesis Lam and the father of their twins John and Samantha. Henry grew up in wealth at the Kings castle. He took his royal tasks very serious, but when he discovered he hasn't royal blood he was disinherited from the throne.
3) The Winchester family is a family featured in Midnight Hollow. The family consists of blue-blooded royal siblings Cedrick Winchester and Odessa Winchester.
4)Catarina Vanderburg is a pre-made wealthy Sim, living in Hidden Springs with her royal family: husband, Renauld, and son Sebastian Vanderburg, in a mansion next to the Cho family. Her daughter, the "princess" Francisca Vanderburg, has run away to the woods in order to fulfill her dream of writing, as Catarina is only interested in marrying off her children.
Yes OP! I would love it if there was some kind of way to distinguish royal / aristocratic Sims... (it appeals to my Englishness). I think it would work nicely with a Celebrity pack as there would be some crossover.
The Vanderburgs were my favourite family in the Sims 3 so I would love this and the Vanderburgs to return!
I'd love a Modern Royal pack <3. I recall talking about it some years ago with a friend. Not to mention, imagine some of the TSM duties becoming modernized. Imo that would be a win/win right there and it would still fit TS4's modern style.
I have two kings in my game. They rule over different kingdoms and have distant family care for other towns. I would love to have royals officially added to the Sims 4! I think the modern take on royals would work. They could be in politics, military, or charity work. They would have to hold different work events and meet with number of people. Try and get a "treaty" signed with another kingdom. They could grant titles to other sims of they are king or queen. There would be an interaction to "stress about line of succession" if their heir hasn't married.
There is so much they could do for the pack. I know it would cater to a small group of sim fans, but seriously, they added laundry and an extra pet pack after releasing a pet expansion. The least they could do is make a group of people who have been playing the game for years happy. Now a royal game packs is where I would spend my money!
