The SUPER-MEGA-ULTRA Everything Challenge
So lately I’ve been getting really into TS4, and as someone who is primarily a TS3 player, it’s a little overwhelming to know where to start. And then I stumbled across the incredible Everything Challenge by CatLadySimmer and figured, hey, if I can’t decide on where to start, why not just do everything?
I have built and expanded upon the original challenge, bringing it up to date with all the packs I currently have (everything up to Growing Together) and adding a few new categories (because moderation is overrated). I’ll go into detail about some of the categories, but the entire checklist can be found HERE – just save a copy and edit it as needed, depending on what packs you may or may not have. I tried to make it as comprehensive as possible, but let me know if I missed anything.
Again, pretty much all of the credit for this idea goes to CatLadySimmer!

CAS: There’s a couple of ways you can create your Founder. If you have a good idea of what kind of Sim you want to start with, go nuts, you’ve got free rein. Starting with a YA is probably a good idea, though. Make them regular or an occult, it’s up to you.
If you want a Founder that’s a little more randomized, you can use the Story feature or one of the many CAS generators available online. I used a combination of the Story Feature and dice rolls for mine.
LOT: You’ll have the option to move as much as you like (or not! that’s fine too!), so don’t stress too much about picking the Perfect Lot. I do recommend using one of the bigger ones, though, especially if you’re planning on staying in the same house for the entire challenge. I bulldozed the 64×64 lot in Brindleton Bay for my save. There are no real requirements for your starter house.

Obviously, there is no mandatory number of generations for this legacy. Try to complete it in as few as possible or build an epic, sprawling dynasty. Lifespan is up to you, too.
CHEATS: This is the part where all challenge creators say, "No cheats or mods allowed!!" I'm going to break with tradition here because while I do believe in challenging yourself, I also believe that playing games should be, y'know, fun. Besides, "challenge" means different things to different people. Maybe that's a breach of Sims etiquette on my part, but as someone who plays these games to relax, I try not to take it too seriously.
There are some cheats that aren't ~allowed~, but look, if you really want to use them, it's not like I can stop you. You set the difficulty here, not me. With that said, I...HIGHLY DISCOURAGE the use of the following cheats:
- bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement and bb.showhiddenobjects in Build Mode - part of the fun of this challenge is unlocking/finding those items as you progress.
- anything that lets you add/remove traits, set your skill or career level, or modify relationships.
HEIRS: Succession rules are entirely up to you. Make it random, use a different method for each generation, whatever you feel like doing.

ASPIRATIONS: You must complete all aspirations included in the packs you have, including Child and Teen (if you have High School Years). The same Sim can complete multiple aspirations, but they must always be randomized when choosing a new one.
CALENDAR: You must participate in all the Holidays and Festivals that appear on your calendar at least once.
CAREERS: You must reach the top of every career path available, including multiple branches of the same career (e.g. both Interstellar Smuggler and Space Ranger for Astronaut). You also have to work every part-time job at least one, and if you have a pack that allows your Sims to own businesses, that's also required.
COLLECTIONS: Pretty self-explanatory. Complete every collection available to you.
DEATHS: Experience every death available.
DEGREES: If you have Discover University, you must complete every degree. For an added challenge, try to take every elective class, too!
SKILLS: You must max out every skill available to you.
SOCIAL: This category is heavily pack-based, and is divided into the following sections.
TRAITS: Every trait must be used at least once - spouses, heirs, and spares all count. Use a randomizer for all children born into your family. You also must purchase every reward trait at least once and, if you have Parenthood, achieve every character value trait.
WOOHOO: Woohoo in every available location.
WORLDS: There are a couple of ways to complete this. The original challenge stated that you must live in every available world and vacation in any vacation world you might have. But if you're like me and hate moving your Sims out of your starting house (especially for a challenge like this where you'll probably amass a lot of stuff), there's an alternative - you can simply vacation in every world at least once (I would recommend putting some lots down in Newcrest, if you're not living there; no point in vacationing there if there's nothing to do!). Also, if the world has any story-based content (e.g. StrangerVille mystery), you must complete that.
And that's it! The challenge is complete when every relevant item on your list has been checked off! Please feel free to customize this however you want, depending on your gameplay - and definitely check out CatLadySimmer's original challenge linked to above, since it offers a couple of details that mine doesn't.
