Toggle button for diseases

I am currently playing the decades challenge while I wait for new content to be announced. I would love for the sims team to add an option for the GTW diseases to be deadly after several days untreated. This could be a toggle button in the gameplay options, or something like it, that also gave other players the option to keep diseases as is. Sickness in game currently has no real consequences besides an uncomfortable buff or some weird facial stripes. And I don't want my 1890's family to have to bring in a multicolored hamster cage just to get some realistic disease.
