Game or not is irrelevant, it's the principle of the thing.
I'm against keeping animals in captivity and for precisely that reason I would not buy a zoo-themed pack.
What about people who own big dogs and live in an apartment? Alone all day with no stimulation until their "master" comes home from work. IMO, animals in zoos are treated better. They have constant care and attention and are never alone.
Vis-a-vis dogs in small homes - that's unfair to the animal too, although the RSPCA would be better informed on the effects on said dogs than I am. If an animal is sick, sure, tend to it. If a species is endangered, sure, do what you can to protect it in as noninvasive-a-way as possible, which is why I think national parks and nature reserves are better at taking care of animals that zoos - putting an animal in a zoo takes it out of it's natural habitat, and makes a spectacle of it for the "entertainment" of humans. I believe the lives of other species do not exist for our entertainment.
