Is it strange that I don't miss hail that much? Hail is a phenomenon that happens in severe thunderstorms not in the middle of nowhere like in TS2 and TS3. So it's always kinda immersion breaking for me.
Certainly, they could implement hail within thunderstorms. I also think that wind damage is sorely missing. Just minor stuff like tree branches falling on the ground and having to clean them up after a storm.
I also wish The Sims would implement freezing rain. It'd be funny to have Sims slipping and sliding not on powdery snow (although I can't complain - I've done that IRL... recently. >.< lol), but on a simple frozen layer of ice on the ground. Wouldn't be technically too hard to implement I don't think.
This is a small non-gameplay related thing but it's a peeve I have had with every Seasons EP so far: Why don't some trees bloom in the Spring before turning to leaves? This is what makes Spring IRL visually distinct from summer, and yet in no The Sims game have they ever represented that. Instead we have some trees eternally in bloom which is really bizarre. Cherry blossoms don't look like that outside of the Spring!
Another non-gameplay one: Improve the rain effects. I'm not alone in calling for this. We should see raindrops fall on the ground, we should see raindrops dripping off of stuff, and the windows should have raindrops running down them.
