It probably goes in hand with by you cannot place diagonal walls in certain places due to the grid. The same goes for spiral stairs, but I figure those would have even more problems when you consider how rounded walls work in the game. You probably wouldn't even be able to stick spiral stairs against a rounded wall.

I agree. They need to refresh Batuu by adding a world that is buildable and swimmable with new missions or scenarios...I'm still exploring and it already feels very limiting. A futuristic buildable world would be awesome in this game especially if it can float around space like Realm of Magic.
