I would love to have boats again, expanding fishing career and whale watching! I also love the idea of having firefighters, EMTs and mechanics in the game. Aquariums would be great too! I like Ocean Exploration, The Community Careers, Suburban Living, The Car Life most, then Work on Wheels. Realty TV would be the last for me. I enjoy active careers in the game, and have missed the firefighting career in Sims 3.

I feel that. I've had ideas for making aquariums, and in way can... but not ones that can be saved to the gallery. When seeing that, I wondered if that would be something that could be changed in the game. Would you finally be able to actually save the fish in the tanks? Or would it be a case of you have to restock them every time the lot is placed? If so, would you be able to have full range of choice in what the tank is stocked with?

My thoughts on this survey. Out of all of them I like 1, 3, 6, and 7 the most.
- Ocean Exploration - love everything about this proposed pack
- Community Careers - only interested in the hairdressing salon/career. I found the firefighter career in TS3 too repetitive for my taste. Maybe if they can work from home and just respond to emergencies if needed, like a sort of volunteer position. The dentist career sounds boring, and you hardly ever see the sims teeth anyway. Maybe they could replace the dentist with something equally torturous but with more benefits like acupuncture.
- Car Life - sounds good, but they need to add in motorbikes and bicycles repair shops as well.
- Work on Wheels - this sounds a lot like the portable sales tables and we already have a lot of those. Also, how big are those trucks going to be to fit inside them enough space to run a business. The current truck/van type cars we have in game aren't very large.
- Reality TV - absolutely not interested in this. Sounds a lot like events type gameplay, go here, go there, do this, do that.
- Suburban Living - this pack sounds nice with all the new careers, hairdressing and cars.
- Van Life - love this. could be used as alternative lifestyle or for vacations too and it has cars, surfing and new musical instruments.
Ocean thing and cars (including vans) , thaaank you ... and I could take extra tropical islands map๐
ps. Bands.

It seems I'm not in the close circle because I didn't get the survey. Boo โน๏ธ
simsimsereI also think the previous ep survey was much more interesting.
GracieFace312I really want a mermaid update too ๐

I can't say I ever cared much for cars in the Sims 4, simply because I don't see how they'd be able to implement driving around, not just teleporting to your destination, considering the current limitations of the game. Ultimately, I think most players do want to be able to drive around, but I just don't think it would be possible, so they'd most certainly have to implement cars in more creative ways.
If they were to give us a car themed pack, preferably an expansion pack, then I think they should actually take concepts from the "Car Life", "Work on Wheels" and "Suburban Living" themes, and merge them instead of separating them. They should focus purely on activities involving cars, so something like cosmetology probably shouldn't make the cut for a car themed pack.
This could include, but is not limited to:
- Driving Schools - A large lot that can be visited, where sims can learn to drive by studying and then taking their theory test, and then the practical test. Sims could pay an hourly fee to hire a driving instructor, and can only drive a vehicle once they've passed both tests. Young adult and older sims could also choose a career as a driving instructor, and it could be possible to make it an active career too.
- Mechanics and Workshops - This could work well in conjunction with the handiness skill, so the higher the skill, the better the quality of work. Sims could own their own workshops, and become self-employed as a mechanic, taking on a variety of work for their customers. Sims could choose to specialise in restoration and repair, or dive into body shop customisation and modifications. Think along the lines of Pimp My Ride and Benny's Original Motor Works etc, for this kind of unique customisation.
- Gas Stations - Sims could own and run their own gas stations, which could also work well as an active career. Sims could purchase a gas station that's been abandoned, with the goal to renovate the place and make it thriving business, or purchase an already established business if they can afford it. Sims can choose to take a traditional approach, offering to fill up a customers fuel tank for them, or hire employees to help out, or they can choose a more modern approach and be self-service. Sims could increase profits further by installing charging stations to cater to customers with electric vehicles, or add two types of car washing facilities, either manual or a drive through car wash.
- Dealerships - Sims have the option to purchase vehicles by browsing the web, or by visiting the local dealership. Sims can choose to become a reputable salesman, by purchasing legitimate inventory straight from the car manufacturer but it's expensive, or be a shady salesman, by obtaining and selling inventory from not so reputable sources, but it's much cheaper.
- Car Meets and Festivals - Sims can create a local car meet club, and drive to their favourite hang out spots around town. Sims can chat about various car details, and inspect and admire another sims handiwork. Sims can also attend an annual car festival, where enthusiasts gather to show off their cars, and can enter their car in various competitions to win prize money.
- Drive-In Theatres - Sims can drive their own car to the local drive-in theatre, and watch a variety of movies, complete with soda and popcorn. Sims can attend with family and friends, or can ask their crush out on a date. The classic car WooHoo makes a return, but sims should be mindful if they're in a public space, should they want to avoid any scandal or negative reputation.
- Car Hobbies - Sims who are fans of racing can watch their favourite motorsport on TV, with a new motorsport channel. Sims who are the creative type can purchase a variety of car model kits, assemble and paint them, and put them on display or sell them to collectors. Gaming enthusiasts can participate in e-sports races, with a new racing simulator, complete with a bucket seat, pedal set and steering wheel.

The previous survey had much better options imo. I wanted almost all of them, now not so many. All the ways to add cars sounds a little boring to me, but I guess I'll re-read them and see if one is above others. Controversially I am somewhat interested in the reality TV option.

All I want is cars and a better ocean experience.
I was devastated by Island Living - I donโt particularly like the idea of โDLC for DLCโ but itโs been awhile since Island Livingโs release and I definitely think they were focusing on a different approach there (focusing on the land rather than the ocean). Maybe they could call it โOcean Livingโ haha!
If you wait for a 50% sale then expansion packs are a pretty similar price to a game pack anywayโฆ (at least in my country)
I just want better mermaids, thatโs all.
I do believe cars should be a base game update though so I am a bit concerned that they are trying to flog them to us in an expansion pack. However, I think these surveys are very vague and broad because I think EA are just doing a bit of market research and I tend to take them with a pinch of salt. I try not to take them too seriously/literally. Pack releases that have been mentioned in surveys tend to be quite different from the written descriptions, at least in my opinion.
Okay so after overthinking it I would say:
Least favourite idea : Reality TV
Just sounds more like scenario concept really, rather than whole EP
I suppose it could come with fun gameplay items or like futuristic dystopia theme *cough* hunger games which would be fun actually would sign my sims up
but as none of that was mentioned (and I don't think thats what they meant with baking competition and allergies) I'll assume not and eliminate this theme from Simmingal Games.
Idea that sounds good but not as EP:
Cosmetologist/Hairdresser Salon
this was referred to in several themes but I instantly feel like just calling it " Salon Stuff" as it just feels like stuff pack type of theme = lots of cas and b/b, not much animations, slightly niche
could even do proper retro theme with b/b hmn? ah getting invested now ๐ its just ideas Simmingal stop obsessing.
Car Themes:
Travel van, regular cars, active mechanic career, mechanical skill, fix up car, learning to drive, motorcycles, washing cars, racing, limos and luxury cars
I just wish it could all fit in one EP that just cars and all related interactions we know and love
I don't really want racing and carwashing or anything else unmentioned as careers but I'd love them as activities like that motorcycle track we had in Urbz would be sweet thing to have and make couple simoleons on
Ocean:
Aquariums, surfing, paddle boarding, boats for multiple sims...maybe some whales? +kraken hammocks and volleyball pls
I would be interested in second sea related pack but I don't want it to be too similar with Island Living and I never really liked houseboats in ts3 so I would rather have different world idea like idk mini private islands or such? or city beach? just ah no more seaside towns and villages pls

I most of all want to take the survey but so far I've not seen a link anywhere to it. Is it even legit?
