24h clock setting, please
I'm not American, but I play with English and then I get am/pm which is unnatural to me. Couldn't you look into adding a setting for if you want 24h clock or 12h one?

Exactly.
It really isn't that hard to convert the 24 hour metric system into military time.
This thread is making me confused lol . Isn't military time the same as 24hour? I use 24h which I would like to see in my game as an option.
catnipdealr, it is. But in the USA, where the game was developed and made, a majority of Americans do not use military time. It is only really used by the military. A common citizen uses the am/pm system so you can have a 6am and 6pm.
I speak English as a second language and this am/pm thing is so confusing to me. I keep forgetting which is which all the time. Don't native speakers ever mix it up?
I play the game in Czech and it displays time in a 24 hour format.
Perti23, I can't speak for all English speakers, but I know a majority of Americans find the 24hr format more confusing. For people that I know, 6am and 6pm is less complicated. I only know the military time clock because I was an Air Force brat in my childhood during the 1980's and 1990's. Outside of the military, I don't think most Americans really use it, thus why saying 1800 hours is confusing to them.
As someone who uses the 24 hour clock, I am very confused by the AM PM stuff, especially because some places are so dark i can't even tell if it's day or night. The Sims 2 has a setting for you to choose what clock to use,The Sims 3 also had the 24 clock for me too, probably based on region or something. The Sims 4 has been out for 11 years and we don't even have a setting for something this basic, something previous games had just bacause it makes perfect sense to have? I wish in a next update we had a setting for this, plenty of people would use is,maybe milions, even though that's maybe a stretch but I feel like it isn't. It would just be very helpful to have a toggle option.
that's so fair though I'm surprised it isn't out yet but it would be a good thing to implement but would love to see it!
Maybe true, but in The Sims 2 we had a toggle option in the settings, and in The Sims 3 I think it disaplyed it based on the region. In The Sims 4,there is none of that. But Sims 4 always has to be special, after all.
I'd love it if they brought it back from the previous games.
Yes,it's beyond confusing,I wish they had it like in the previous games
