I like the notion of being able to tune instruments. A piano often needs a professional to do that, and then it's incumbent on the owner to play the piano like mad, for about three months, depending on just how out of tune it is.
As for a guitar, this is an easy thing for the guitarist to do themselves. But, that would be a fun interaction. I've never played the violin, but I would imagine it also needs to be tuned before played, just as the guitar.
I have Bust the Dust and Laundry Day, to help add such chores since frequently I have a Homemaker in my games. (I dislike the term, Stay-at-home, simply because I didn't work very often outside of the home but wasn't always at home.)
As others have said, we are able to have our Sims clean the grill upon occasion. Yes, many of us use the grill-brush before we grill every single time, but it is the Sims, after all. We are called to suspend our disbelief. when playing to an extent.
