I would love a Sunday Market kind of festival, where every Sunday there appear grocery type stands that sell everything grocery related, fish, fruits and veggies, meat, baked goods, spices, and some extras like plants and seeds, gnomes, etc.
The reasons I am asking for:
- Butcher's Shop
- Farmers Market
- Fishmongers Shop
- Grocery Store
Is that some neighborhoods "feel" like they need a Full Grocery Store and some feel like they should have a Farmers Market in the center of town with a Butcher's Shop four buildings down and a Fishmongers down by the water. With me it's mostly about freedom of choice, and aesthetics. I am also enamored of the little shops that so prevalent in European towns and cities. Also I'm starting to truly dislike the kiosks and all the dummy shell buildings. That was space we could have built on. I played Sims 3 and got spoiled on choice

TS3 was the queen of shell buildings and space wasted on shell huge buildings with little use.
I would like actual shops for food stuff, though not sure we will ever have them all in one neighbourhood or as real shops. I like the small food stands, they serve their purpose and they are manned by NPCs. They don't need to be big shops and that is why I am asking for a Sunday market type festival or it could even be a more permanent type building like a Farmers market, but still with small food stand type vendors inside it. Personally, I don't like the rabbit hole type buildings, is same as buying from computer or selling stuff from inventory, but instead you also need to travel somewhere for that. With the food stands at least you can befriend the NPC, go on quests and what not. It feels like more immersive gameplay.
