Remember if you start a new game to disable NAPs in Create-A-Sim. I really would love to know which admin had the idea with this NAP. Is the worst NAP from all because it can destroy your community lot.

Agreed. As a console player, not for the first time I feel at a disadvantage as there are mods out there to minimise chaos caused by NAPs but on console I'm stuck with them.
I think it's been very badly thought out in terms of the assignment of random intrusive effects on every single part of every world. I would never have added Eco Living if I'd known all of the worlds and even the Sims I'd given so much thought to, would be disrupted in this way. I thought I'd be able to set each one myself and I think that's reasonable since it's my game.
There should be a way to reset NAPs in each area without a Sim living there having to repeal each one. I've currently got a Sim moving from area to area to repeal the worst NAPs that cause most disruption. Sharing is Caring, Roughhousing and worst of the worst...Free Love. I don't want my Sims things disappearing, I don't want them being attacked or groped in the street either! With regards to the last two, unfortunately devs did not read the room before adding something that has Sims being slapped or ravished by their best friend or strangers randomly without being able to stop it, I mean WOW...just, like wow! Really? Unwanted physical advances that you can't stop?!? I think the world has moved on a bit and it's in really poor taste. It's like a nightclub in 1999 and I'm about to throw my squashed frog at someone (it's a drink...not a frog I squashed specifically for the purpose of throwing by the way)!
The whole point of the Sims for me is the creation of the world's and towns. I put so much thought into it, often upscaling a group of houses or an area in a specific way, creating family links and friendships across worlds and so on. The NAPs change it all with the negative actions they bring. I was having problems with excessive random meanness and happy couples flirting and more at inappropriate times and settings and spoiling gatherings. NAPs dialled the problems up to a new level.
As for the sharing is caring, I do happen to live in a friendly group of close neighbours and we do share extra things with each other. If we run out of something, one if us will usually have some spare...but we don't swipe each others furniture because that would just be rude.
It's fair enough for these things to apply to a club or household, like Partihaus for example when it's a choice to participate, but not a whole town.

You are able to set each one yourself. If you disable NPC voting then only NAPs you vote for will be implemented. Any already existing NAPs that you do not like you will need to repeal.
- simsplayer8184 years agoHero@jpkarlsen Hey there, yeah that's what I'm doing. But because I have all worlds except for one it's a big task. I think it should be blank for all worlds until I set each NAP for each area myself. I didn't realise any NAPs for other worlds were set randomly until I visited another area. I think there should be something in the game options perhaps, I have it set so NPCs can't vote already.

If it is set to no NPC voting when you start a new game no NAPs will be enacted in any world unless you vote for them. That you waited some time in your current game before turning it off meant that some NAPs had already been voted in. In this case you will have to repeal those you don't want in each neighborhood and it can only be done by a sim living in that neighborhood.
