About New Saves
Hello simmers and devs! I wanted to suggest that when you enter a new Save, don't start from the CAS, start from the world selection, it is a bit annoying to have to create Sims to enter the worlds.

I totally agree to that.
Amen. Especially considering how freaking long it takes CAS to load up.
Agreed, there should be options to either choose existing townies, use a gallery sim/s, or go to CAS
Y'know, like the older Sims titles.
+1
agreed, a new save should still exist like it is now (same with copy saves) but i want to start with a world rather than CAS
i now feel rushed to create a random sim or my simself
i can understand selecting seasons first but we shouldn't enter CAS first though
and you always have to put your CAS to the gallery when you want to finish CAS, it should become optional or atleast go to settings you can toggle it on/off
i hope the team sees our ideas
Exactly, sometimes i just want to play with the townies or build/replace builds to create a new save file. It seems like the game underestimate itself.
It would just be nice to skip CAS when starting a new save. 😉
This would be nice especially given my playstyle with building a lot and just trying to test features. It would be a relief to not have to do the whole cas stuff first and being able to just select a household that already exists for testing things and whatnot.
This is why I have what I call a starting save file. Yes, I labeled a save just that. If I or my kids who also play the game want to play without creating a new Sim, we just load that one and immediately go to a save as option to create a save where we can play the orginal townies.
I have two of those myself, one is the vanilla world with all the lots and whatnot, the other is a save file with all lots bulldozed for building entire worlds myself from scratch. Having a starter save file where you just throw one of the testing sims in as your household and then just do whatever is the best way right now to work around this "Starting in CAS" nonsense.
