Accessibility request: Begging for controller support on PC.
This is a plea from an accessibility standpoint.
I own almost all dlc on PlayStation but the game runs absolutely terribly compared to my high end PC. Especially in regards to bugs, load times, and general stability.
I would love to play on PC, but because of disabilities using a mouse and keyboard is practically impossible even for short bursts.
There are no mods that add in controller functionality for TS4 that is equivocal to the functionality of console controls. Sure, you can create a shoddy profile via steam but it doesn’t work as well as the controller profiles native to PS5/4 or XBOX. There is a mod via steam but that requires your sims games to have been purchased through steam.
I have such an amazing PC but the Sims remains inaccessible. Why? This would be a relatively easy feature to implement that would open this game up to so many with disabilities.
It would also be so cool to change the color of the LED indicator on the dual sense or ps4 controller based on mood sting — similar to that limited edition mouse that I wish, so dearly, I could purchase.
It would be such a neat feature to implement. A Sims 4 themed dual sense would sell out SO FAST. Sims players would be so jazzed.
Please add this accessibility choice to PC. Do a quick google to gauge how many people desire this feature. A feature that’s available on so many indie games that don’t cost $1500.
