Add Ways to Spend Large Amounts of Money - "Get Famous 2.0"

I’d like to suggest a new game pack to address an imbalance introduced by the Noble pack: it enables players to earn huge amounts of money per day, but offers few meaningful ways to spend or use that wealth. A money-focused pack would make high-earning gameplay more satisfying and open new roleplay possibilities.

e.g., You have 4+ Noble sims in Household, all of them are high rank Noble career. You see, they make tons of money, even I set lowest tax rate.

- Solution: Release a new game pack that adds substantial, fun ways to spend or distribute large sums of Simoleons.

- Collaboration idea: Consider collaborating with a high-profile creator (e.g., MrBeast), similar to the recent Lofi Girl collaboration, to design large-scale philanthropic or spectacle-driven mechanics.

- Gameplay features to include:

- “Give Money” interactions: allow sims to give large sums to random sims or chosen recipients (one-off gifts, recurring donations).

- Charity / Giveaway events: host parties or live events where sims give money away to attendees or random sims in town (e.g., “Give Money Party,” charity gala, public giveaway). If you watch MrBeast Youtube vids, especially charity ones like "I opened Free Bank / Free Burger Restaurant" , you get the idea.

- Philanthropy systems: create foundations, endowments, or community projects players can fund (parks, community centers, scholarships) with visible, persistent effects on neighborhoods.

- High-cost items and experiences: introduce expensive homes, luxury renovations, exclusive services, world-class venues, or private events that meaningfully consume large budgets.

- Economy-balancing features: optional modes to scale prices or add progressive costs so late-game wealth feels impactful.

- Alternative: Extend the Get Famous pack to include charity mechanics, large-scale public giveaways, sponsorship deals, and celebrity philanthropy gameplay tied to fame and reputation.

  • It's possible to gift money. It's also possible to literally burn it. I agree with you though that sims need to have some fun new things to spend their money on.

  • I think it's a good idea. I think there are plenty of things the game could update about an economy. Update of prices (I think most stuff is too cheap, especially the lux ones). I play with SNB Bank mode and I wish it would be added permanently to the game. Taxes, managment of household finance, credit system - with charity and events it all would shake how the game works, but in my opinion - positive way

Yes I'm aware those are exist.

But it's just a few interaction. What I need a large scale impact like a party event.

There are ways, you just need to be inventive in your approach on using what is already available in game. From what I've noticed most players go for the most lucrative way to make money then complain that there's too much money and nothing to do with it, yet they literally do nothing with it. Want an expensive party event? Here's what to do. Set up a fancy party, hire caterer, bartender, entertainer, etc. For extra fun, make it a garden party. Go create some really expensive outfits from the thrift store rack, I think the most expensive one can sell for 1 million simoleons. Buy them all, wear one of them. Once guests show up, start gifting them the remaining outfits. Now look at your garden party decor, use nothing but the best for your guests, the most expensive tables, chairs, decor, etc. Make sure to light lots of fire works, candles, etc. and for added entertainment, add the volcanic activity lot challenge and hope for the best.

This is a really good idea! Love it! Makes me wanna play a rich sim now lol.

On a side note, do really wish there were more rabbit hole actions for the sim to do, maybe accessible from the phone, like go to the movies or go see a concert, price can vary from day to day from like 50 simoleons up to 500 simoleons.

I am not a fan of rabbit hole activities but I wouldn't mind if they add more for those who want them as long as they still bring new proper activities to the sims. I play mostly single sims so rabbit hole activities just seem boring.
