Faith and religion expansion pank

My idea for a Faith & Religion Expansion Pack for The Sims 4 ❤️

I would absolutely love to see an expansion pack about faith, religion and spirituality in The Sims 4.

I really think this would be a meaningful addition to The Sims 4. Both Christian and Muslim players could benefit from being able to represent their faith in the game, because religion is an important part of many people’s everyday lives, culture and identity. giving players the freedom to create Sims and families that reflect real life. ❤️

Faith is a big part of many people’s lives, so I think it deserves a place in The Sims 4 too.

I think it could be something really special because religious Sims could finally have activities that allow them to express their faith in the game. Players could choose in Create-a-Sim whether their Sim is Christian, Muslim, or another faith, and decide how much their Sim wants to participate in religious activities.

For Christian Sims, I would love things like:

- Going to church on Sunday and attending a church service

- Praying with folded hands or praying on their knees

- Reading the Bible

- Singing Christian worship music

- Making their own Christian music

- Having moments where Sims feel peaceful, joyful and connected to God

- Raising their hands during worship when Christian music is playing

- Having a church that Sims can visit together with their family and friends

For Muslim Sims, there could also be respectful activities based on Islamic traditions, such as:

- Visiting a mosque

- Prayer and different ways of praying

- Wearing hijabs and other traditional clothing

- Reading the Quran

- Celebrating important Islamic holidays and traditions

- Having a place where Muslim Sims can meet and worship together

I would also LOVE a BIG Christian music and faith festival, similar to the real-life Opwekking Festival. It could be a huge event where hundreds of Sims come together with their friends and family.

There could be a large stage with huge speakers playing Christian worship music, Christian singers and bands performing, and lots of Sims singing and worshipping together. Sims could raise their hands during the music, pray together, dance, spend time with each other and enjoy the festival.

I would love the whole festival area to have an atmosphere of joy, happiness, freedom, love and togetherness — a place where Christian Sims can celebrate their faith and feel connected to God and to other people.

There could also be camping, food stands, activities for families and different areas around the festival grounds, making it feel like a real multi-day Christian festival.

I think the most important thing would be that the pack is made respectfully and together with people from different religions, so that Christian, Muslim and other religious players can recognize their faith in the game.

It could also be optional. Players who don't want their Sims to participate in religion wouldn't have to.

I would genuinely love an expansion like this because I think it could make The Sims feel even more diverse and meaningful. ❤️

EA, please consider making a Faith & Religion pack! 🙏

Honestly, the only way The Sims could ever add religion is if it’s fictional, like Sims Medieval. That game nailed it — the Jacobians were all fire‑and‑brimstone ‘The Watcher is judging you,’ while the Peterans were peaceful monks preaching divine mercy and unconditional love. That kind of exaggerated, lore‑friendly religion works because it’s parody. Real‑world religions would be way too sensitive for TS4.

Also why would Sims follow any real‑world religion when they already KNOW aliens, fairies, spellcasters, vampires, werewolves, mermaids, and the Grim Reaper exist? Sims literally meet Death at least once a week — and sometimes they even work for him as his employees as fellow grim reapers. At that point religion becomes obsolete because the afterlife is a confirmed, observable fact and everyone ends up in the same one.

If they added real‑world items like the Koran or the Bible, you KNOW people would immediately set them on fire with Inferniate. Sims players can’t even be trusted with a stuffed animal without turning it into a cursed ritual object. Real‑world religious items would last five seconds before becoming props for chaos. EA or any sane company can't nor should ever risk this as it would upset a great number of people.

  • I'm starting to loose track of how many times people had come up with this idea so far. To be honest, faith and religion tends to be a sensitive topic.

  • I don't think it needs to be a thing in the game at all. I think there's enough systems in the game that you can at least create your own religion. Seasons allows you to create custom holidays where you could customise it to celebrate a religion. You can create clubs with Get Together and have Sims do activities.

  • Realistic religion wouldn't do well in the game. There is no way to respectfully simulate all Denominations of faith. The parody religions would do better and be more acceptable for the game. Btw, you can tell by my username that my faith is also important to me. I can say that your description activities  for Christianity are just not appealing because they do not match my how I view my own faith.

I already use in-game things to simulate my specific denomination. For me, I use the volunteering from Parenthood for service projects, use meditation from Spa Day for prayer, use The podium from City Living or Discover University for services, and use the Adventure Awaits to make a Christian day camp.  There are other DLC content I use, but those are just simple examples.

I’ve already built accurate churches and cathedrals in The Sims 4 without needing real‑world religions added to the game. I even made a Catholic church with confession booths.

And honestly, you probably wouldn’t like the fact that the basement has a nightclub inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy — it’s called Dante’s, with a Paradiso level and an Inferno level, complete with DJs and dance floors.

The game already gives enough tools to build religious spaces if players want them. We don’t need actual religions added, especially not just four Christian denominations.
