Adding neutral to the likes and dislike sections

I thought this would be a nice addition to that feature especially for activists since there are some activists that you do that you don’t really have strong emotions toward. For example fitness, one might do it as a part of their routine to be healthy but not out of actual strong emotions toward doing it.

Edit since I should’ve added this originally but didn’t think to do so that’s my bad. I know leaving it blank is supposed to be leaving it neutral but when I try to do that the game changes the options I left blank to like or dislike when I switch households for a while saying my sims discovered those likes/dislikes on their own so I thought if there was an actual neutral option the game would stop messing with it.

Ah that makes sense. I just finished posting the bug report now.

This sounds like a bug to me, I think you'll have to report it. Likes and Dislikes should not change for your played households unless user specified.

I just hate leaving it blank because then when I switch households for awhile the places I leave blank often switch to like/dislike without my input so I thought if there was an actual neutral option the game would stop changing it

When I try to do that the game keeping trying to set them to like or dislike when I don’t play the household for a while.  So I thought if there was an actual neutral option the game would stop doing that

I believe that was the intention, I remember specifically the devs sayins Sims should do the things they dislike much less.

  • That's basically what leaving it blank does. Sadly disliking activities does nothing still since sims will just do those things still on their own but dislike doing it. They never should do it on their own if you set it to dislike.

  • Isn't neutral basically just leaving the option blank. Like if you don't select that your Sim likes or dislikes it then it remains neutral?
